Italianflat – Arena by side, old town Overview
You know what really struck me about Italianflat – Arena by side, old town? The name pretty much tells you everything – you’re literally steps away from the Arena di Verona, and I mean literally. I’m talking maybe a two-minute walk, if that. When I first arrived, I honestly couldn’t believe how close we were to the amphitheater. You can actually hear the sound checks if there’s an opera performance coming up, which is either magical or slightly annoying depending on your perspective (and the time of day).
The apartment itself sits right in the thick of the old town, and that comes with all the charm and challenges you’d expect. The cobblestone streets are gorgeous but your wheeled luggage will hate you – trust me on this one. What I loved though is how authentic the whole experience feels. You’re not in some sterile hotel corridor; you’re in a real building where actual locals live, with those thick stone walls that keep things surprisingly cool even in summer. The morning sounds are pure Verona – church bells, the occasional Vespa puttering by, and vendors setting up in the nearby squares. It’s the kind of place where you grab your espresso from the bar downstairs (there’s always a good bar nearby in this part of town) and feel like you’re actually living in the city rather than just visiting it.
I mean, with an 8.2 rating, clearly other people are getting what makes this place special too. The location really is everything here – you can stumble back from dinner in the old town without worrying about taxis or last buses, and during the day you’re perfectly positioned to explore on foot. The Arena dominates the skyline from certain windows, and honestly, there’s something pretty incredible about having your morning coffee while looking at a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater. Sure, it can get touristy around the Arena during peak times, but early mornings and evenings have this lovely local rhythm when the day-trippers have cleared out. The apartment gives you that insider access to experience Verona at its most authentic – when the stones are still warm from the day’s sun and the locals are out for their evening passeggiata.
Verona hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in this UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its romantic atmosphere, Roman architecture, and world-class opera performances.

Location is perfect! 2 minutes from Arena and also from alley of restaurants. Very nice apartment, clean, comfortable.
What could be improved: VERY HARD to find office to pick up a key!!! Map will help. It will be nice to have more plates. People who cook, buy and leave spices, oil, sugar, salt, please do not throw them away, leave some for the next guests, sometimes these little things helps a lot.Beautiful Verona – Edoardo from Italy – 11 March 2025 (10/10)

Location fantastic, right next to the Arena, apartment was spacious and very quiet, and best shower ever. Some of the equipment was good quality – washing machine, dishwasher, cooker hob, .microwave.
What could be improved: The bed was a bit uncomfortable, dips into the middle, electrical wiring and extension next to sink was dangerous!
Insufficient plates, saucepans etc.Great location for the arena – Tracey from United Kingdom – 4 September 2024 (8/10)
