The 3-star rating might sound modest, but honestly, I’d take this kind of thoughtful simplicity over some overcomplicated 5-star experience any day.

What really won me over, though, was how the place strikes this perfect balance between giving you privacy and making you feel looked after. Ricky’s got this way of being available when you need something without hovering around making you feel like you’re being watched. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-handoff dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The neighborhood itself has that genuine residential feel where you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard and catch the smell of someone’s grandmother making sauce, which sounds cliché but actually adds to the whole experience. I found myself looking forward to coming back each evening, which is something I definitely can’t say about most places I’ve stayed. The only tiny thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, the authentic Italian family life around you might take some getting used to – but honestly, I found those everyday sounds kind of charming after the first night.

  Appartamento nuovo, ordinato e pulito, situato in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Host sempre attento e disponibile ma con discrezione, accettazione semplice e molto pratica. Abitazione con tutti i servizi ed accessori, compreso bottiglie d'acqua, cialde per caffè e biscotti, per prima necessita'.

  Pulizia e max disponibilità del proprietario ad accontentare le nostre esigenze. Buona posizione , avevamo a disposizione anche un garage ma abbiamo preferito parcheggiare in strada molto facile trovare parcheggio.
  
  What could be improved: Unica pecca oltre al the sarebbe ottimale una macchina del caffè anche di quelle a cialde semplici.

  The property is very well organised and well kept with all possible accessories. Fresh linen was supplied as well as water on arrival.
  The owner Filippo was a wonderful host. He sent constant updates and instructions and truly went above and beyond what was expected. I have travelled a great deal, but never met a host so kind and service-oriented.
  
  What could be improved: It’s near impossible to get a taxi and it’s a 40-minute was to the Centro Storico. There aren’t shops close by. The closest is shop is 20 minutes away on foot.
