Italianflat – Old Town Flat Overview

You know what really caught me off guard about Italianflat – Old Town Flat? It’s one of those places where the name actually tells you everything you need to know – and I mean that in the best way possible. When I first walked up to this 3-star spot, I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but there’s something genuinely charming about staying in what feels like a real apartment right in the heart of the old town rather than some cookie-cutter hotel room.

The thing is, this place gets it right where it matters most. The flat itself has that lived-in Italian warmth – you know, the kind where the floors creak just a little bit and the windows actually open wide enough to let in those amazing morning sounds from the cobblestone streets below. I spent way too much time just sitting by the window with my coffee, watching locals hurry to work and tourists slowly figuring out their maps. The 7.6 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there for a day or two; it’s not trying to be fancy, but it’s comfortable and authentic in a way that bigger hotels just can’t pull off. Sure, you might hear your upstairs neighbors sometimes (old buildings, you know?), and the Wi-Fi can be a bit temperamental when it rains – but honestly, that just adds to the whole experience of actually living in the old town for a few days.

What I really appreciated was how the place felt connected to its surroundings. You’re not isolated behind some modern hotel facade; instead, you’re right there in the mix of daily life. The local bakery smell drifts up in the mornings, and you can hear the evening conversations from the little restaurant downstairs (which, by the way, closes around 11 PM if you’re a light sleeper). The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no corporate nonsense, just practical information about where to find extra towels and how the temperamental shower works best. I mean, it’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re getting a glimpse of what it might be like to live there, rather than just passing through as a tourist. If you’re looking for room service and a concierge, this isn’t your spot, but if you want to wake up feeling like you belong in the old town – even just for a weekend – then this flat really delivers on that promise.

Reviews of Italianflat – Old Town Flat

  • Mana from Greece – 27 March 2025 (7/10)

  • Ndreu from Albania – 26 March 2025 (8/10)

It was great for the location. Everything was close by.

What could be improved: I believe everything was perfect. There is nothing to change.

  • Secrieru from Moldova – 21 March 2025 (9/10)

    Locația excelentă, apartament spațios.

What could be improved: Era frig în apartament la sosire. În unul din cele două dușuri, robinetul de apă rece era defect și apa rece nu curgea, astfel încât apa era prea fierbinte, iar temperatura nu putea fi reglată.

  • Laia from Spain – 11 March 2025 (8/10)

    La localizacion

  • Luca from Italy – 24 February 2025 (4/10)

    La posizione vicino al centro

What could be improved: La mancanza di poter transitare in ztl per potere almeno lasciare le valigie davanti al portone, la sporcizia generale della casa sopratutto di lenzuola e asciugamani, la puzza di fogna proveniente dalla doccia e sanitari/mobili parecchio usurati, il fatto di essere al 3/4 piano con un ascensore minuscolo
