You know what caught me off guard about Italianflat – Piazza Vescovado Terrace? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting some basic apartment rental, but this place actually has serious boutique hotel vibes. The moment you step onto that terrace (and trust me, the terrace is everything), you get this incredible view that makes you understand why someone gave this 4-star property a 9.4 rating. I mean, those numbers don’t lie, but experiencing it firsthand really drives it home.

The location is pretty genius if you ask me. Being right on Piazza Vescovado means you’re literally steps away from some of the most authentic parts of the city – none of that touristy stuff, just real Italian life happening around you. Mornings are particularly magical because you’ll hear the church bells mixing with the sounds of locals heading to work, and there’s this bakery smell that drifts up from somewhere nearby (still haven’t figured out exactly where, but who cares?). The piazza itself gets busy around aperitivo time, which creates this lovely buzz without being overwhelming. Actually, I found myself just sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine, watching the evening routine unfold below – it’s better than any TV show.

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to blend that apartment-style comfort with proper hospitality touches. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense – like staying at a stylish friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste and knows how to make guests comfortable. The terrace furniture is actually comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), and they’ve thought about practical things like having proper lighting for evening drinks and enough space that you don’t feel cramped even if you’re traveling with someone. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – it’s one of those narrow-street situations that Italy does so well – but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the evening stroll back through the piazza after dinner becomes part of the whole experience. I’d definitely come back, and I’m pretty picky about places that live up to their ratings.

  The property is amazing with the rooftop terrace
  
  What could be improved: For 1.400 EUR we got two low quality toilet paper, no coffee no water, very little soap.
  We paid for an extra guest and had to prepare everything on our own.

  Ho soggiornato in questo B&B incantevole situato nel cuore di Verona.La struttura è molto accogliente ,ti fa sentire a casa e la terrazza con la vista a 360 °sulla città mi ha lasciato senza parole… riduttivo dire bellissima!
  La posizione centralissima ti permette di arrivare comodamente a tutti i punti di maggior interesse turistico .
  Cucina piccola ma attrezzata per consentirti di preparare qualche pasto in autonomia.
