The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel experience. I stayed there last spring, and what struck me immediately was how the owner had managed to capture that relaxed, residential vibe without skimping on comfort. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re actually there – it’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top, but everything just works really well. The kitchen area (yeah, there’s proper kitchen space) had everything I needed for making coffee in the morning, and I actually found myself cooking a simple dinner one evening with ingredients from the local market. There’s something about being near the water that makes you want to slow down, you know?

What I really appreciated – and this is something you only notice when you’ve done the whole Verona tourist circuit – is how this place gives you a break from all that. Don’t get me wrong, you’re still close enough to walk to the main sights (took me about fifteen minutes to get to Piazza delle Erbe), but you’re tucked away from the crowds and the tour groups. The neighborhood has this authentic residential feel where you’ll see locals doing their grocery shopping and kids playing in the small squares. I remember one morning walking along the riverbank before breakfast – hardly any tourists around, just joggers and people walking their dogs. It felt like I was getting a glimpse of real Italian life instead of just the postcard version. The whole area gets this beautiful light in the late afternoon that sort of bounces off the water, and honestly, I spent way more time just sitting by the river than I’d planned. Sometimes the best part of traveling isn’t checking things off a list – it’s finding a spot where you can actually breathe and soak it all in.

  What could be improved: Location. Sits just behind a big steel factory of the city, awkward neighborhood. No wall covers/tarps for the property yard to avoid showing the mess of the neighbors yard.
  No tool station or fixed bike stand in the yard for bike people to do quick routine maintenance or fixes for who's staying there to bike around town or the countryside.
  some sketchy-looking people walking past outside the property fence, but it's a big City after all, so who knows.

  The place is a bit in the middle of nothing. No supermarkets nor cafes in its proximity. Consider 20-25 minutes walk to get to the centre or the train station.

  Great the free parking, it's just outside the city center and it's surrounded by nature, in the morning it was beautiful to hear birds chirping! Perfect cleanings!
  I thought it would have been hard to find the place but it was not! Just insert the address and follow the instructions!
