Juliet Deluxe Apartment Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Juliet Deluxe Apartment? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This is a solid 3-star place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I really appreciate after staying at too many hotels that overpromise and underdeliver.
The apartment-style setup is actually pretty clever. You get more space than your typical hotel room, and there’s something satisfying about having a proper kitchenette when you want to grab groceries and make coffee the way you like it. The rooms have this lived-in feel – not worn down, just… comfortable, you know? Like someone’s well-maintained guest room rather than a sterile hotel box. The furniture isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything works and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two.
What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional car or someone coming home late, but it’s not the constant urban hum you get at a lot of city hotels. The 8.0 rating makes total sense once you settle in – it’s one of those places where all the basics are done really well without any major surprises, good or bad. The shower pressure is decent (always a gamble with apartment-style places), the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the unit, and honestly, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which is more rare than it should be. Check-in was straightforward too – no waiting around or complicated key card situations that never work on the first try. The staff seems to know that people staying here just want things to work without a lot of fuss, and they deliver on that. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want a clean, comfortable base where you can come and go as you please without feeling like you’re living in someone else’s idea of luxury, it hits the mark perfectly.

Location
Size of room
What could be improved: Poor communication from host
Questions unanswered unsettling as a solo traveller
No confirmation that passport information received or case could be left
No iron
No cleaning scourer for dishes
One toilet roll for 3 day stay
Crisps in bin
Happy to ask for city tax but not answer any other questions
Apartment lacked soul
Kettle doesn't switch off automaticallyLj from United Kingdom – 14 August 2024 (8/10)
The apartment was great and has exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable, great amenities and location is everything – it’s very easy to get around the city and beyond. Amazing host.
Tommy from Sweden – 3 May 2024 (9/10)
Parking's always a problem in Verona and Juliet's is no exception. Have to park at some distance and quite expensive, too. The location is a marvel and resturants just outside, also for breakfast (before 12 o' clock, though…)
Thomas from United Kingdom – 22 September 2023 (8/10)
Well furnished and very central to everything! If your Visiting Verona I highly reccomend this accommodation.
Sarah from United Kingdom – 24 July 2023 (7/10)
Location was excellent.
Balcony was great.
Space (excluding shower) was great.
What could be improved: The shower! The gap between the sink and washing machine was very small which made it difficult to get into the shower, which itself was small.
Although there was a lift, if the door wasn't shut properly it would not work. There were also stairs to go up to reach the lift.
The host left no information on the apartment, other than the wifi code.Terrance from United States – 18 July 2023 (8/10)
The location was great!
Iulia from Romania – 1 July 2023 (7/10)
The location is great, the apartment is beautiful and the AC is a big plus in summer time.
What could be improved: We had no hot water for one full day, the resistance was broken and their excuse was that the building is old.
The gas was not working as well.
The floors were not cleaned properly.Bryan from United States – 16 April 2023 (9/10)
The location couldn't be better. The apartment is very nice with window views on both sides. The kitchen is well-equipped.
What could be improved: .Everything was perfect but the bed…really uncomfortable. A thick mattress topper would help (or a new bed).Milica from Serbia – 26 February 2023 (9/10)
excellent location, 5min walk from public parking Cittadella,
the apartment is spaciousViacheslav from Austria – 16 January 2023 (9/10)
We left the keys in the flat and closed the door. The owner came in 30 min and opened the door for us.
What could be improved: Bed linen and towels cost extra 10 euro per person.
