Hotel Description
I stumbled upon Juliet’s Dream Suite during a whirlwind trip to Verona last spring, and honestly, it felt like I’d stepped right into one of those romantic Italian novels – you know, the kind where everything’s a bit dreamy and over-the-top with history. Tucked away on Piazzetta Capretto, just off the bustling Via Mazzini (that’s the pedestrian shopping street where everyone grabs their gelato fixes), it’s on the second floor of this charming old building in the historical center. No elevator, mind you, so pack light if stairs aren’t your thing – I lugged my suitcase up those worn stone steps and was huffing by the top, but the view from the landing made it worth it. Check-in was a breeze; the host, this friendly local guy named Marco, met me at the door with a fresh espresso and a quick rundown of the neighborhood. He even pointed out the shortcut to Piazza delle Erbe, which is like two minutes away if you dodge the tourists snapping pics at Juliet’s balcony – yeah, the Casa di Giulietta is practically next door, so expect some lovey-dovey crowds during peak season in summer.
What really sold me on the place was how it blends that old-world Verona vibe with just enough modern comforts to make you feel pampered without going overboard. The suite I stayed in – well, it’s more like a spacious apartment, actually – had these exposed wooden beams on the ceiling that creaked a little at night, adding to the authentic feel, and big windows overlooking the narrow alley below. Mornings, you’d wake up to the smell of baking bread wafting up from the bakery on Via Cappello, mixed with the faint chatter of market vendors setting up. The bed was ridiculously comfy, king-sized with crisp linens that felt like they were straight out of a luxury catalog, and there’s a little kitchenette where I whipped up pasta one evening using ingredients from the nearby Mercato di Piazza Erbe (pro tip: go early to snag the fresh tomatoes before they’re gone). It’s rated a solid 9 for a reason – clean as a whistle, with thoughtful touches like complimentary prosecco on arrival and a balcony where you can sip it while watching the sunset turn the rooftops golden. Noise-wise, it’s surprisingly quiet after dark, even though you’re smack in the center; the thick walls block out most of the street buzz, though you might hear the occasional scooter zipping by if your window’s open. One minor gripe? The Wi-Fi can be spotty during busy times, like when everyone’s streaming after a day at the Arena – but hey, that’s Verona for you, forcing you to unplug and enjoy the real show outside.
All in all, if you’re chasing that Romeo-and-Juliet romance without the tourist trap hassle, this spot’s a gem – especially for couples or solo travelers who want to feel like they’ve got their own slice of Verona history. I mean, it’s not the cheapest, being 4-star and all, but for the location, you can’t beat wandering out to the Arena for an opera under the stars (book tickets in advance for July’s festival) or grabbing a spritz at a hidden bar on Via Stella. I’d go back in a heartbeat, maybe in the quieter fall when the leaves turn and the crowds thin out – just remember to validate your parking if you’re driving; spots are scarce in the ZTL zone, so use the underground lot at Piazza Cittadella and walk the five minutes over. Trust me, it’s the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you’ve left.

Exceptional – Deanna from Canada – 12 June 2025 (10/10)
This was a beautiful and spacious place to stay! I will definitely be back!
Lovely apartment – Richard from United Kingdom – 29 May 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location. High level of finish and very clean.
What could be improved: Air con doesn’t seem to work. It was warm in the apartment and we couldn’t seem to get it cool using the A/C controls. Fans are available and we used them even though it was only mid 20s degrees. I would be cautious to hire this in the middle of the summer months. This was a wonderful apartment with everything you needed and was in a great location – Steve from United Kingdom – 26 May 2025 (9/10)
Modern, well designed, stylish
What could be improved: Just one small issue with the air conditioning, we couldn’t work out how to turn it down so the apartment was a little warmer than we wanted it to be, perhaps some instructions would help.Beautiful, spacious apartment in the old town, with everything nearby. – Steve from United Kingdom – 22 February 2025 (10/10)

Wonderful apartment, we had the best time – Vanja from Slovenia – 16 December 2024 (10/10)
Really beautiful apartment in wonderful building. Very clean. Right in centre of Verona. Pets free of charge. Wish we could stay more than 2 nights. We will definitely booked again.
What could be improved: You must park your car in one of the parking garage and walk app. 15 min to the apartment. But this is normal due to central location and actually is not a minus just observation.Exceptional – Marika from Czech Republic – 8 December 2024 (10/10)
Great location of the apartment, the apartment is situated in the courtyard, so it is very quiet. Very very clean apartment!!!! The keys are ready in the box, so you don't need to meet anyone. The host thinks about everything, the apartment is ready for your arrival, the decoration and the lighting ,everything is prepared for you stay. We recommend the best apartment we visited in Verona.
