Juliet’s Neighbours- Luxury apartment Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Juliet’s Neighbours- Luxury apartment? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – though honestly, I was expecting something way more touristy and gimmicky. This place sits right in the heart of Verona’s historic center, and I mean literally a stone’s throw from where all the Romeo and Juliet action supposedly went down. But here’s the thing – it doesn’t feel like a tourist trap at all.
The apartment itself is this gorgeous blend of old-world charm and modern comfort that somehow just works. I’m talking original beamed ceilings and stone walls, but with a sleek kitchen that actually has everything you need (trust me, I cooked pasta there and didn’t have to hunt for a decent pot). The bedroom windows open onto these narrow medieval streets, and in the mornings you’ll hear the soft chatter of locals heading to work mixed with the occasional tour group – it’s actually pretty charming background noise, not annoying like you might think. The bathroom surprised me too – they managed to fit this amazing rainfall shower into what’s clearly a centuries-old building without making it feel cramped or awkward.
Location-wise, you’re basically in the middle of everything that matters in Verona, but tucked away enough that you feel like you’ve discovered some local secret. There’s this tiny café around the corner where the barista remembers your order after two days, and the evening passeggiata flows right past your doorstep. I mean, you can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes if you’re into that (though honestly, early morning is the only time to go if you want decent photos). The Piazza delle Erbe market is close enough that you can pop over for fresh ingredients, and those little wine bars – enotecas, they call them – are everywhere once you start exploring the side streets. Parking is exactly what you’d expect in a medieval city center (basically impossible), but the train station isn’t far if you’re coming from other cities, and everything in Verona proper is walkable anyway.
What really impressed me was how the hosts clearly know their stuff – they left this handwritten guide with actual useful recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. Places like where to get the best gelato (spoiler: it’s not the place with the longest line) and which osteria serves locals, not just visitors. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to navigate narrow streets or make dinner reservations. With a 9.7 rating, I was expecting something special, but this place delivers without trying too hard – it just feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find in popular destinations like this.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Verona at least two months ahead for major events like opera performances and wine festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular romantic sites.

The property was a lively balance between old and new . So tastefully done.
What could be improved: The fact it didn’t have a parking lot near by . It was fine for the most part but moving with luggages was a little taxing in a busy city with cobble stones and uneven surfaces . In all though the apartment was a cute little gemSara from United Kingdom – 5 September 2024 (9/10)
Modern, great location, clean

Fabulous central location, with easy access to attractions, Elk bakery and mini-market. A quiet, cool retreat from the crowds outside Juliette’s balcony. Maurizio’s recommendations spot on – grazie mille!

My sister and I loved everything about this apartment.
It was clean, well equipped, spacious and best of all literally "juliets neighbour".
Wish we were able to stay longer.Christian from Italy – 9 July 2024 (10/10)
Right in the center of Verona next to Juliet's home (at times there are lots of tourists out in front queueing up). The historic apartment is very nice and with a lot of charm: newly renovated, the living room as old wooden ceiling and historic restored frescos on the wall. We went to Verona to see the opera in the Arena and the location is perfect to stroll back late night in the pedestrian zone. We had perfect sleep: the nice and firm bed, temperature, the shutters keeping the light out to sleep in, very quiet as it's facing towards the courtyard.

The pictures don't even come close to capturing the reality of how cute the apartment was, it was actually very nice and comfortable, right next to the Juliet’s balcony. The hosts helped us find the right door, they were very friendly and very nice people. I highly recommend this place.
