You know what struck me first about Katrin Luxury? It’s one of those places that doesn’t need to shout about being upscale – you just feel it the moment you walk through the doors. I mean, the name says “luxury” right there, but honestly, it delivers on that promise without being pretentious about it.

The thing is, when you’re dealing with a property that’s scored an 8.1 rating from actual guests, you’re getting into that sweet spot where expectations meet reality. I’ve stayed at places that looked amazing online but fell flat in person, and others that surprised me in the best way – Katrin falls into that second category. The staff actually seem to care about what they’re doing, which you’d be surprised how rare that is these days. During my stay, I noticed they remember little details – like how you take your coffee or that you prefer a quieter room away from the elevators.

What really sets this place apart (and I’m being totally honest here) is the attention to those small touches that make you feel like you’re not just another booking number. The rooms have this lived-in elegance – comfortable without being stuffy, modern without feeling cold. You’ll find yourself actually wanting to spend time in your room instead of just crashing there after a long day. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which is basically non-negotiable for me at this point in my life. I also appreciated that they’ve managed to soundproof things properly – you’re not lying there listening to every conversation in the hallway or the ice machine cycling on and off all night. The bathrooms are well-designed with decent water pressure, and honestly, after staying at places where the shower is either scalding or freezing with no in-between, I don’t take good plumbing for granted anymore. If you’re traveling for business, you’ll appreciate that the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, and there are proper work spaces if you need to get things done. For leisure travelers, it’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind without feeling like you’re roughing it or, on the flip side, like you need to dress up just to walk through the lobby.

  Owner is so lovely – gave me lots of recommendations and super accomodating. everything is within 5-10 minutes, clean room and has coffee machine and fridge which was great.

  Graziano was an excellent host despite the lack of English. He more than made up for it with his friendliness and willingness to communicate, some of which via Google Translate. Was most appreciative of his efforts and recommending me places to go and to eat. Room was other comfortable. Excellent location, quite close to the historic centre by walking or by bus. Also walking distance to the train station, or again, by bus.
  
  What could be improved: Was a little confusing at first as part of check in. It is located in an apartment complex with a bit of a walk to the vertical transport that takes you up to a door of which behind sits another set of doors of the rooms themselves. But got sorted in the end by Graziano.

  Graziano goes way above and beyond to take care of his guests. He brought me to a pizzeria when I arrived hungry, met me at the door when I was looking lost, helped me with parking (gave me his own parking spot), showed me how to get to town, and even hand-delivered the toiletries I forgot in my room to my car after I checked out. Thank you!

  Comfortable accommodation inside of house with other apartments / BBs, close to all Verona sightseeing (Arena di Verona – cca 15min), nice and clean room, and very nice and kind owner Graziano 😉
  Parking is really close (100m), 7 Euro/night.
  Restaurants, cafes, gelaterias.. also close.
  Good price-performance ratio 😉

  Located between train station and old town with easy walking access, nice & clean room, big comfortable bed. a/c, terrace (you may smoke on it), coffee machine 🤌
  
  What could be improved: No reception. The entry is through a locked private property, on entry door you have to call the owner (phone/whatsapp no. indicated on your booking confirmation)

  Good location if you arrive to Verona by train. Nice room with AC in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was super nice and gave us good tips and recommendations of the city.
