It’s one of those 4-star places that actually earns its rating without trying too hard to impress you.

I mean, a 9.3 guest rating doesn’t just happen by accident, right? What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to create something that feels both intimate and spacious at the same time. The common areas have this wonderful flow to them – you’ll find yourself naturally gravitating toward these little nooks where the afternoon light pools just right for reading or just sitting with a coffee. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right, which you notice in small ways throughout your stay. Check-in was smooth (no awkward waiting around), and they actually remember your name when you pass by the front desk later.

The rooms themselves strike that perfect balance between comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Nothing feels sterile or cookie-cutter – more like staying in a friend’s really well-appointed guest room. The beds are properly comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and the bathrooms have good water pressure, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re traveling. What I particularly appreciated was how quiet everything stays, even when the place is full. You get the sense they’ve put real thought into the soundproofing and layout. Mornings are especially lovely here – something about how the light filters in makes you want to linger over breakfast instead of rushing off to your itinerary. The whole experience just feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find these days, where so many places either try too hard to be trendy or play it so safe they end up feeling bland.

  Really enjoyed our stay at La casa della luce! The hosts were very friendly, the apartment was bright, cozy and very clean. It felt like staying at a friend's place. It's located in a nice green neighbourhood just a 15 – 20 min walk from the city center. Since we were travelling by car, the garage was also a big plus for us.
  Would definitely recommend!
