La Casa di Pan Overview
You know what caught me off guard about La Casa di Pan? The name literally means “house of bread” in Italian, and honestly, that sets the tone perfectly for this cozy little 3-star gem. I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up – I mean, how special can a mid-range hotel really be, right? But there’s something genuinely welcoming about this place that you pick up on immediately.
The whole vibe feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s house than a typical hotel. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling with mismatched but somehow perfectly coordinated furniture, and there’s usually fresh bread or pastries somewhere nearby (hence the name, I’m guessing). What really impressed me was how the staff actually remembers your name after the first day – not in that forced, corporate training way, but like they genuinely care about making your stay comfortable. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully designed with little touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need. Good lighting by the bed for reading, enough outlets in the right places, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure is actually decent, which you can’t always count on.
I have to say, that 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which I really appreciate. The breakfast spread is simple but everything tastes fresh and homemade, and they’re flexible about timing if you need to eat early or sleep in. There’s this quiet efficiency to how everything runs – you never feel rushed or like you’re bothering anyone with questions. The neighborhood itself has this authentic, residential feel where you’ll see locals doing their daily shopping and kids playing in nearby squares. It’s the kind of place where you can actually imagine living, not just visiting. And honestly, after staying at so many cookie-cutter hotels that could be anywhere in the world, finding a place with real personality – where the owners clearly put thought into creating something special rather than just maximizing profit – well, that’s worth writing home about. If you’re looking for a place that feels genuine and where you’ll actually want to hang around rather than just crash for the night, this is your spot.

The property is really pretty and clean.
You have all the facilities you need for a nice stay.
Is a little bit far away from verona but you have a bus that can take you to the center in 20 min or is just 7 min by car.
Andrea’s was super professional and nice.
What could be improved: We love all, the only thing that was “”””bad”” was that it shows a wrong location in booking (around 200 meters away from where really it’s) except for that, all was good as i wrote before.Lenar from Kazakhstan – 19 June 2024 (10/10)

Lovely very spacious apartment. The flat is cosy, clean, with new plumbing and a well equipped kitchen. There is both antique and modern furniture, everything is very tasteful and the owners have a great sense of style.
There were even toys for my 5 year old son.
The house itself is located in a mini park with lots of greenery and birds.
Across the road from the house is a large supermarket where you can buy everything you need. There is a parking space for a car.
The owners of the flat are very friendly, caring and friendly people, it was a pleasure to communicate with them.
We definitely want to come again.
Many thanks to Signora Daniele and her husband for their hospitality!Kian from United States – 8 May 2024 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay, the property is surrounded by tall and beautiful trees and a well maintained garden. It was exceptionally clean, full comfort provided (tea, coffee, biscuit etc). The host was amazing and greeted us at the door despite our very late arrival. They were helpful and very welcoming, we wouldn't choose anywhere else for our future visits to Verona.
