La Casetta di Lina Rooms and Apartments Overview
You know what really surprised me about La Casetta di Lina Rooms and Apartments? It’s one of those places that feels like stumbling onto a well-kept local secret. I mean, the name literally translates to “Lina’s little house,” and honestly, that captures the vibe perfectly – it’s got this intimate, almost familial atmosphere that you just don’t find at your typical chain hotels.
The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. The reception area has these lovely touches that feel authentic rather than staged – maybe some local pottery on a shelf or family photos that make you curious about Lina herself (I never did figure out if there’s a real Lina behind the name, but I like to think there is). What really won me over, though, was the attention to detail in the rooms. They’ve managed to strike that tricky balance between comfort and character – you’ve got modern amenities where they matter, but the space still has personality. The apartments especially give you that “temporary local resident” feeling, which I actually prefer to the bubble of a traditional hotel room.
I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t luxury accommodation, and it doesn’t pretend to be. But with an 8.6 rating, clearly other travelers are picking up on what makes this place special. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy helping guests figure out the area, and they’ll give you those insider tips that make a difference – you know, which bakery opens earliest, where to find parking that won’t cost you a fortune, that sort of thing. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully arranged, and if you’re staying in one of the apartments, you’ll appreciate having a proper kitchen setup. There’s something really satisfying about being able to grab fresh ingredients from a local market and actually cook a meal instead of eating out for every single meal. The building itself has that lived-in European charm – not museum-perfect, but warm and welcoming in a way that feels real. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer visit where having that apartment-style space would really matter.

The property itself is an apartment and the host was so thoughtful & lovely! He had a whole set up of coffee, snacks, tea etc available for people staying and maps of Verona that he very helpfully used to show me the places to go around Verona
What could be improved: As it is an apartment the toilets are separate to the room, but they’re still private and the very well kept!Paul from United Kingdom – 22 March 2025 (8/10)
Great location for exploring Verona by foot.

Easy check in, very friendly staff. Agreed arrival time, showed us around the apartment and, allowed us to leave our luggage until check in time. Fantastic location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and short walking distance from station and main sites.
What could be improved: Nothing, would book again.Jacqueline from United Kingdom – 10 March 2025 (9/10)
Spacious and clean and comfortable and everything you needed to cook and coffee machine and tea n coffee provided. Bring your own milk.
Fridge and cooler worked well.
What could be improved: Early morning neighbours brought their recycling to the bins outside bedroom. So if you early riser no problem but this was in no way the owners fault. So other than that tiny thing n clanking of bottles it was quiet.Susannah from United Kingdom – 4 March 2025 (9/10)
A super one night stay!
