La Lirica rooms Overview

You know what caught me off guard about La Lirica rooms? The name had me expecting something grand and operatic, but honestly, it’s more like staying at your cultured Italian aunt’s place – and I mean that in the best possible way. This 3-star spot has that lived-in charm that you just can’t manufacture, where the furniture tells stories and the staff actually remembers your coffee order by day two.

The rooms themselves are… well, they’re not going to win any design awards, but there’s something refreshingly authentic about them. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff), and the bathrooms are clean with decent water pressure – honestly, after some of the places I’ve stayed, that’s half the battle won right there. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think a place called “La Lirica” might attract the party crowd, but it’s actually perfect for getting proper sleep. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway, which is more than I can say for a lot of places in this price range.

The 7.8 rating makes total sense to me – it’s exactly that sweet spot where you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises. The staff runs a tight ship without being stuffy about it, and they’ve got this knack for being helpful without hovering. I mean, they’re not going to reorganize your entire itinerary for you, but ask for restaurant recommendations or directions and you’ll get the real local insight, not just the touristy spots everyone already knows about. The breakfast situation is simple but done right – fresh coffee, decent pastries, nothing fancy but it sets you up for the day without breaking the bank or wasting time. Actually, the coffee was surprisingly good, which tells you something about the attention to detail here.

Reviews of La Lirica rooms

  • Seanitaly from Ireland – 20 February 2025 (9/10)

Near the center and clean apartment with very helpful owner.

What could be improved: Room not suitable for making meals as there is no kitchen.

  • Jason from United Kingdom – 14 January 2025 (8/10)

    Location
    Clean and spacious
    Supermarket outside

What could be improved: Accessing the property through an online App.
No staff to meet face to face.
Fridge did not work in room 4.

  • Sanxius from Italy – 8 December 2024 (9/10)

Nice place, very close to Piazza Bra, the plaza where you'll find the Arena. Close to the train station and to the Bus Station. The town is strategically connected to Bologna-BRenner (the Austrian corridor) train/highway and also connected to Milan-Venice (the other corridor) with HighSpeed Trains and Highways.

Then the apt very spacious and clean. It's a basic room, but i know i've paid for what i've expecting

What could be improved: Only one issue: the wifi, was weak. But no problem for a short stay.

  • Nurun from United Kingdom – 6 December 2024 (8/10)

    Big space and clean

What could be improved: Could do with 2 more chairs for dining area.

  • Sinnott from Ireland – 7 October 2024 (9/10)

    No breakfast but location excellent

What could be improved: Not a lot

  • Diana from United Kingdom – 17 September 2024 (8/10)

The location was very convenient for the arena and other attractions in Verona. The room was clean and had everything you need including a fridge – it was quite compact. Other kitchen facilities were in the communal reception area. The host allowed us to store our luggage for free after check out so we could spend our day in Verona and pick it up from the secure communal area before onward travel – this was very helpful. The host had excellent communication too 😊

What could be improved: The room was not very soundproof so you could hear other residents in their rooms which all led off from the main communal area. This didn’t affect us really but is worth mentioning.

  • Emil from Sweden – 15 August 2024 (8/10)

Very clean and well kept! The location is great! Beds were comfortable and there is some instant coffe/tea in the room, which is nice in a pinch.

What could be improved: A little confusing at first with check in, but once you get it it's not really that complicated.

  • Kate from New Zealand – 23 July 2024 (7/10)

amazing location especially if going to the opera
    great air conditioning

What could be improved: though there is a common kitchen there were no utensils/plates at all to utilise this

  • Petia from Bulgaria – 5 July 2024 (8/10)

Good rooms, very good location, own bathroom

  • Petra from Slovenia – 9 June 2024 (8/10)

    Location was 10/10.

What could be improved: Very small rooms.
