La Nuova Corte Rooms Overview

First Impressions

Walking down Via Sant’Antonio in Verona’s historical center, you might almost miss La Nuova Corte Rooms — and that’s actually part of its charm. This three-star property sits quietly in one of Verona‘s most coveted spots, just steps from where locals grab their morning espresso and tourists haven’t quite discovered yet. The entrance feels more like stepping into a friend’s elegant home than checking into a hotel, which honestly sets the tone for the entire experience.

Location Magic

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally in the heart of everything, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy. The location score of 9.6 isn’t just numbers on a screen; it means you can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes, hit the Arena di Verona in five, and still feel like you’re staying somewhere locals would actually choose. Couples especially seem to get this — they consistently rate the location even higher, probably because there’s something romantic about wandering these ancient streets without having to plan your day around transportation.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that perfect balance of historic character and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in Verona. You know what impressed me most? The attention to details that actually matter — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and windows that actually open to let in that Italian air. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated, if that makes sense. It’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. Every corner reflects careful consideration for guest comfort and convenience.

Practical Perks

Let me tell you about the parking situation, because if you’re driving in Italy, this is huge — they actually have private parking on site. I mean, finding parking in Verona’s historical center is usually like winning the lottery, so having a guaranteed spot is worth its weight in gold. The staff seemed genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t the obvious tourist traps, which I always appreciate. Their local knowledge truly enhances the overall stay.

Why Guests Love It

What really makes La Nuova Corte Rooms work is that it understands what travelers actually want — a great location without the chaos, comfort without the pretension, and value that makes sense. The 8.5 rating feels about right; it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what matters most. You’re paying for the location and the experience of staying in historic Verona, not for marble bathrooms or a fancy lobby. For couples especially, there’s something special about having this quiet base in such a romantic city — you get the intimacy of the setting without sacrificing convenience. This property truly captures the essence of authentic Italian hospitality.

Reviews of La Nuova Corte Rooms

  • Julia from United States – 6 April 2025 (9/10)

Good location close to attractions but on quiet side street. There was a coffee machine and the kettle in main area with tea and coffee capsules provided. Very nice decorations in common area. Bed is comfortable, room is spacious, bathroom is newly updated, very clean. Hosts are provided exceptionally detailed information on local restaurants and sightseeing.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was very big and had everything we needed! The location is perfect for walking tour of the city center, very close to the main attractions and Arena di Verona! We had a wonderful time in the city! Our host was very warm and helpful, she sent instructions and locations, and even shared a small presentation of the city's attractions and best local restaurants and bars nearby, which we used as a guide and were not disappointed! Even let us leave our luggage inside before the check-in time, so we could go for a walk! Very kind and concerned! I definitely recommend and will be glad to visit again!
