La Stanza Di Giulietta Overview
You know what? When I first stumbled across La Stanza Di Giulietta, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the name alone had me curious, and let’s be real, any place that references Juliet is either going to be charmingly romantic or completely over-the-top touristy. Turns out, this little 3-star spot actually strikes a pretty nice balance between the two. The whole place has this intimate, almost residential feel that makes you forget you’re staying at a hotel rather than crashing at a friend’s beautifully decorated apartment. The rooms aren’t huge – I mean, we’re talking European cozy here – but there’s something about the way they’ve arranged everything that makes the space feel thoughtful rather than cramped.
What really got me was the attention to detail throughout the property. The staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re comfortable, and I noticed they remember little things about guests (like how you take your coffee or whether you prefer a quieter room). The common areas have this lived-in elegance – not fancy enough to make you worry about putting your feet up, but stylish enough that you’ll probably end up taking a few photos. Honestly, the whole vibe reminds me of those boutique places that locals actually recommend rather than the ones that just look good in Instagram posts. The breakfast situation is solid too – nothing revolutionary, but fresh and well-prepared with a few local touches that show they’re not just phoning it in.
I’ll be straight with you though – this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a gym or a business center, and if you’re someone who needs all the bells and whistles of a big chain hotel, you might feel like something’s missing. But that 7.8 rating makes perfect sense once you spend a night or two here. It’s the kind of spot where the charm comes from what they do well rather than trying to be everything to everyone. The neighborhood has this authentic feel where you’ll actually see residents going about their daily lives, not just endless streams of tour groups. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a discovery than a booking, and you appreciate when someone puts genuine thought into hospitality rather than just following a corporate playbook, La Stanza Di Giulietta delivers exactly what it promises – just don’t expect it to be something it’s not.

Excellent behavior of the host, very friendly and warm. Nice and comfortable room, with many gifts inside. Place close to city center. I would totally recommend it.
Teodora from Bulgaria – 23 November 2024 (8/10)
Apartment is located really nearby to most of the tourist sites – e.g Arena di Verona and historical Center are less than 5 mins away. The room was clean, tidy and equipped with everything needed. The host Patrizio was extremely friendly and helpful and even suggested lovely places for dinner. He had left us a wonderful collection of teas to try and they did not disappoint.

Lorraine from Australia – 11 October 2024 (9/10)
It was close to most things in Verona. The host Patrizio was very helpful with tips for restaurants, parking and a laundromat.
What could be improved: The drains smelt but I guess that’s the case with a lot of old buildings.Joanne from United Kingdom – 31 August 2024 (9/10)
Host was very good even gave us recommendations on what to do. Small courtyard with table and chairs and parasol to relax in. Just a few minutes walk from the arena.

Great location, close to parking and city center. Great balcony in a very quiet courtyard. Rooms are decorated with love.
What could be improved: The sewage smelled strange which was annoying, but probably there is nothing you can do about it.Melanie from Netherlands – 12 July 2024 (9/10)

I liked the room decoration, vicinity to the city centre, beautiful little balcony and very welcoming host Mr Patrizio. Patrizio contacted me the day before to confirm time of arrival, when we met at the property he kindly showed us around and explained everything what we needed. He recommended some places to eat and to visit considering our length of stay. His plan actually made sense and we covered the main sightseeing of Verona in 2 days. He was very polite and proactive in offering help and advice about the city. The room was nice, not so big but it was plenty of room for 2 people and I liked its design..There are some negative reviews about state of the rooms or mould, but our room was nice and clean and it was more than enough for a short stay. I liked the welcoming cakes and cartons of juice and water in the small fridge. The view from our cosy balcony was towards courtyard, but still it was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay again in this property. Grazie Mr Patrizio!

We arrived early. The owner said we couldn’t check in early but we still got there 30 minutes early and the lads were cleaning the rooms – they were really nice and accommodated us, cleaning our room first and letting us drop our bags off (all we needed to do). Location is great and not far from the arena, still in walking distance to train station. Small and cosy. Would recommend.
What could be improved: Lots of bugs from the trees in the courtyard, got bitten lots! Should’ve applied some spray before bed.
