Here’s what really impressed me about the location — you’re close enough to Juliet’s balcony that you could walk there in your pajamas (though I wouldn’t recommend it), but far enough from the main tourist crush that you can actually sleep at night. Via Adigetto is one of those streets that locals still use, so you get a real feel for the city. The Adige River is just a short stroll away, and if you’re into evening walks, the path along the water is absolutely beautiful. You know what’s great? You can grab morning coffee at the little bar around the corner and watch Verona wake up before the tour groups arrive.

The Room Experience

The rooms at La Stanza Di Giulietta are what I’d call thoughtfully simple — they’ve got character without being cluttered. My room had these lovely old wooden beams that reminded me this building has some real history, but the amenities were completely modern where it mattered. The bathroom was spotless and well-designed, which honestly can make or break a stay for me. What I really liked was how quiet everything was, even though we’re talking about the center of a busy tourist city. The beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept in, which rarely happens when I’m traveling.

Getting Around & Practical Matters

This is where the hotel really shines — everything you want to see in Verona is within walking distance. The Arena di Verona is maybe ten minutes on foot, Piazza delle Erbe is even closer, and you can reach the Castelvecchio without breaking a sweat. I mean, you could stay here and never need public transport or taxis for sightseeing. The staff seemed to really know the area too — they gave me directions to a fantastic little osteria that I never would have found on my own. For couples especially, this location just works perfectly because you can duck back to the hotel between sightseeing and dinner without it being a whole production.

  Excellent behavior of the host, very friendly and warm. Nice and comfortable room, with many gifts inside. Place close to city center. I would totally recommend it.

  Apartment is located really nearby to most of the tourist sites – e.g Arena di Verona and historical Center are less than 5 mins away. The room was clean, tidy and equipped with everything needed.The host Patrizio was extremely friendly and helpful and even suggested lovely places for dinner. He had left us a wonderful collection of teas to try and they did not disappoint.

  It was close to most things in Verona. The host Patrizio was very helpful with tips for restaurants, parking and a laundromat.

  Great location, close to parking and city center. Great balcony in a very quiet courtyard. Rooms are decorated with love.

  I liked the room decoration, vicinity to the city centre, beautiful little balcony and very welcoming host Mr Patrizio. Patrizio contacted me the day before to confirm time of arrival, when we met at the property he kindly showed us around and explained everything what we needed. He recommended some places to eat and to visit considering our length of stay. His plan actually made sense and we covered the main sightseeing of Verona in 2 days. He was very polite and proactive in offering help and advice about the city. The room was nice, not so big but it was plenty of room for 2 people and I liked its design..There are some negative reviews about state of the rooms or mould, but our room was nice and clean and it was more than enough for a short stay. I liked the welcoming cakes and cartons of juice and water in the small fridge. The view from our cosy balcony was towards courtyard, but still it was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay again in this property. Grazie Mr Patrizio!

  We arrived early. The owner said we couldn’t check in early but we still got there 30 minutes early and the lads were cleaning the rooms – they were really nice and accommodated us, cleaning our room first and letting us drop our bags off (all we needed to do). Location is great and not far from the arena, still in walking distance to train station. Small and cosy. Would recommend.
  
  What could be improved: Lots of bugs from the trees in the courtyard, got bitten lots! Should’ve applied some spray before bed.
