La Terrazza di Aida Overview
You know what caught me off guard about La Terrazza di Aida? The name makes you expect some grand rooftop situation, but honestly, it’s more charming than dramatic – and I mean that in the best possible way. This little 3-star spot has this understated Italian elegance that grows on you, especially once you realize the staff actually remembers your name after the first night (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen everywhere).
The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – nothing fancy, but everything works and there’s this attention to small details that matters when you’re actually living there for a few days. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay. What really won me over was the breakfast setup – they do this thing with fresh pastries that arrive still warm, and the coffee is strong enough to actually wake you up. The whole morning routine there just feels… right, you know?
I’ll be straight with you about the 7.1 rating – it’s probably because this isn’t the kind of place that overwhelms you with amenities or flashy touches. But if you’re looking for somewhere that feels authentic and welcoming without breaking the bank, it actually delivers really well. The service has this relaxed professionalism that I appreciated – they’re helpful when you need them but not hovering around constantly. I noticed they tend to remember little preferences too, like how you take your morning coffee or whether you prefer a quieter room. The location works well for exploring on foot, and there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels more like a well-run family business than a corporate hotel chain. It’s the sort of place where you settle in quickly and find yourself looking forward to coming back after a long day of sightseeing.

Nice apartment in a quiet area of Verona, where everything is very close. Everything is well done, excellent view from the window with a wonderful balcony and terrace. The owner met us halfway at a difficult moment, when our flight was canceled and it was already quite late. Highly recommended!

Really close to the Verona train station and a ten minute walk to the Verona Arena. Was surprisingly big and had everything we needed. Two double beds and two bath rooms. The sofa could pull out to make another bed which was great for watching movies. Really good air con! Key collection was easy.
What could be improved: The spa bath was lovely but the jets didn’t work. Slightly dark in places where the lights weren’t that bright. The kitchen wasn’t the cleanest but that didn’t bother us.Lannie from Italy – 30 August 2023 (7/10)

Getting the code for the locked box wasnt easy we had a number of messages to the host. There was no breakfast we had alot of difficulty with the internet logging on and finally got that fixed on our second last day.
What could be improved: Internet access, easier to get into the property. But the views were lovely and its close to the CBD.Vita from Lithuania – 22 February 2023 (8/10)
