Le Betulle Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Le Betulle on Via Giuseppe Sirtori, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical tourist hotel. It’s tucked into Borgo Trento, which honestly feels more like a residential neighborhood where actual Veronese people live — and that’s exactly what makes it special. The four-star property has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, but once you’re inside, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty remarkable.

The Borgo Trento Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Verona, but you’re not drowning in tour groups every time you step outside. Borgo Trento is where locals actually want to live, which means real cafes, proper grocery stores, and that authentic Italian neighborhood vibe. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the historic center, but honestly, that distance works in your favor. You get the best of both worlds without the chaos, and couples seem to absolutely get this — they consistently rate the location a perfect 10.

Your Home Base

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian charm. Nothing felt overdone or trying too hard, you know? The beds are genuinely comfortable (not always a given in Italy, let me tell you), and the bathrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping elbows with your travel partner. What really impressed me was the attention to details — good lighting for actually reading, plenty of outlets where you need them, and windows that actually open to let in that Italian air.

Practical Perks That Matter

Let’s talk about something that’ll save you both money and headaches — the free private parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Italian city centers, you’ll understand why this is basically gold. No circling blocks looking for a spot, no deciphering confusing parking signs in Italian, just pull up and you’re done. It’s one of those things that seems small until you need it, then you realize how much stress it eliminates from your trip.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.9 rating isn’t just a number — it reflects what happens when a hotel gets the fundamentals right without any pretense. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, the neighborhood gives you that authentic Italian feeling, and everything just works the way it should. You’re close enough to walk to Juliet’s balcony and the Arena when you want that classic Verona experience, but far enough away that you can actually relax and feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through it. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay, which — trust me — is exactly how you want to feel about your hotel.

Hotels in Verona offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this medieval gem, with easy access to historic palazzos, charming piazzas, and renowned wine bars.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was totally clean, spacious, comfortable and with all details. The location is so great, near to old town and restaurants and a supermarket. • Philip from United Kingdom – 20 April 2024 (10/10)

Very spacious and clean and extremely comfortable. The balcony getting late spring sunshine was also a lovely touch.

What could be improved: Nothing really, possibly slightly closer to the train station but even then it’s pretty easier via a bus to get to.

  • Andrea from Austria – 27 March 2024 (10/10)

A wonderful place, like an oasis in a big city. Everything was perfect, it was clean, quiet, it was furnished and equipped to a high standard, everything one needs was there. Renata is a wonderful host, too, very welcoming, and ready to help at any time. We'd stay in Le Betulle in a heartbeat again.

This is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. It is spotlessly clean and very spacious and everything works! Renata, our host, could not have been more helpful. She booked restaurants for us and arranged our return taxi to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope we can stay here again.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • Natalia from United Kingdom – 13 May 2022 (10/10)

The apartment is spacious, bright and nicely furnished, 7 minutes walk to the old town, and there is a playground nearby. There is a small balcony with a nice view. In the 2 weeks we stayed there it felt almost like home.

The host was very welcoming, always available and helped with all requests we had. Our child got ill during the stay, and the host was very supportive and helped us with various emergencies and problems. A great place to stay.

  • Pam from Australia – 25 April 2022 (10/10)

We were a family group of two couples. The apartment was perfect accommodation, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an ample dining and seating area. The apartment was nicely furnished, and well equipped with kitchen ware and appliances. It was very quiet. We liked being 10 mins walk from the historic town, and having a secure car park. Renata and Sofia could not have been more helpful and welcoming, offering advice on local restaurants and sightseeing.
