You know what really caught me off guard about Le Stagioni dell’Arena? I walked in expecting just another decent four-star place, but honestly, this place feels like someone’s incredibly stylish Italian relative decided to open a boutique hotel. The lobby has this warm, lived-in elegance that immediately makes you want to settle in with a glass of wine and people-watch through those gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows.

The thing about staying here is that you can tell the owners actually care about the details that matter. I mean, the rooms aren’t huge by American standards, but they’re designed so thoughtfully – everything from the lighting (which actually works for reading, imagine that) to the way they’ve arranged the furniture so you’re not constantly bumping into things with your suitcase. The bathrooms have those rainfall showers that don’t make you feel like you’re being attacked by a fire hose, and the towels are the kind you want to steal but probably shouldn’t. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays even when the hotel’s full – you’d think with those beautiful hardwood floors you’d hear every footstep, but somehow you don’t.

The breakfast situation deserves its own mention because it’s one of those spreads where you keep discovering new things tucked into corners. Fresh pastries that are obviously from a local bakery, not some industrial kitchen, and they do this thing with local cheeses and cured meats that makes you understand why Italians take their time with meals. The coffee’s proper Italian strong, and the staff seems genuinely happy to explain what everything is rather than just pointing vaguely at the buffet. I stayed there during what felt like peak season and never had trouble finding a quiet spot to eat, which tells you something about how they manage the space. The 9.6 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not flashy or trying to impress you with marble everything, but it’s the kind of place where small thoughtful touches add up to something really special. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole place just smells good – like quality wood and fresh linens rather than that generic hotel air freshener scent.

  الشقة كاملة من كل شي حتى ضيافة (مويه وايس كريم وسناك وعصيرات وشابوره وبسكوت وكروسان وكيك ومربي وقهوه وشاي ماخلوا شي بالعربي) الادوات والاجهزة كاملة في المطبخ وفي الحمام اكرمك الله حاطه كل شي تحتاجه، في طبعا غساله، وترحيب صحبة الشقة جميل وتساعد في حمل الشنط وتعرض علينا اي خدمة اذا محتاجين، وفي طبعا مواقف سيارات، الشقة نظيفة جدا وموقعها قريب من السنتر مشي عدة دقايق، وجنبك كمان سوبرماركت ومطاعم، وامان المبنى مقفل بكذا باب، واكيد راح ارجع لها لو زرت فيرونا. شكراً

  the hosts were so generous leaving a cupboard and fridge full of a wide variety of food and drink.
  The apartment was quiet and well located
  there was a washing machine and a balcony on which to hang the clothes to dry.
  Ample clean towels in the bathroom.
  
  What could be improved: personally we would have preferred all linens to have been laundered with eco zero chemical products as we had a party member with allergies.
  We had to rapidly unplug air fresheners and remove all such products to the balcony for the duration!

  Our family really enjoyed our stay during a recent trip. The hosts took care of us very well, met us there to get us situated, arranged on-site parking and had a very well stocked apartment!
