I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Like Romeo Suites, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But after spending a few nights there, I can tell you this 3-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible. The whole place has this unexpectedly romantic vibe (hence the Romeo reference, I suppose) without being cheesy about it, which is actually pretty hard to pull off.

What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create these genuine suite experiences rather than just calling regular rooms “suites” like so many places do. The space feels thoughtfully designed – you know, like someone actually considered how you’d live in it for a few days rather than just cramming in furniture. The lighting is particularly well done, sort of warm and moody in the evenings but bright enough during the day that you’re not squinting at your phone. And honestly, the attention to detail in the rooms shows – from the way the bathroom is laid out (thank god, proper counter space) to little touches like actually decent hangers in the closet.

The staff here genuinely seems to care, which you can usually tell within the first five minutes of checking in. They’re not overly formal or scripted, just… helpful in that natural way that makes you feel like they want you to have a good time. I mean, with a 9.2 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and it shows in those small interactions throughout your stay. The whole place runs smoothly without feeling corporate, if that makes sense. Check-in was quick, housekeeping was unobtrusive but thorough, and when I had a question about local restaurants, the front desk guy actually gave me his personal recommendations rather than just handing over a generic brochure. You know what I really appreciated? The soundproofing is solid – I could barely hear other guests, which is rare enough that it’s worth mentioning. Plus, they seem to have figured out that perfect room temperature balance where you’re not constantly adjusting the thermostat. It’s those kinds of details that make you realize you’re staying somewhere that actually thinks about the guest experience beyond just providing a bed and a bathroom.

  The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. It had a lovely bathroom with a very good shower. The air conditioning was excellent and very much needed in July.
  The kitchen was simple but met our requirements perfectly.
  The location was amazing, within easy walking distance of the arena and Piazza Delle Erbe.
  The lovely lady who met us (Francesca???) was so friendly and gave us lots of information. There was also a lovely gesture of a bottle of wine and mini croissants left.
  All in all a fantastic stay…oh and Verona is to die for!

  Very comfortable apartment in the city center! It was very good that it had AC, a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The host was also very kind and helpful!

  Very spacious and fully equipped apartment, and very close to the Arena. The host met us at check-in and was extremely welcoming and helpful. We got some treats (fruit, wine) and lots of recommendations.

  Good location, owners were very helpful and friendly. Everything you need for a stay including coffee, milk, wine, fruit and bathroom items. Plenty of power points, charging cables and other practical items. Small but everything we needed for our stay.

  The bed, pillows and towels were all beautifully clean. The set up with two rooms was perfect for a family of four. The host was lovely and welcoming. Can’t fault anything.

  Our stay here felt exceptional. The location is great, the host was lovely, the suite itself was very luxurious – prefect for a young couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and we would definitely come back.
