Living Arena Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Living Arena? The name makes it sound like some sort of sports complex, but honestly, this is one of those boutique places that completely defies expectations. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, I was expecting something decent, but this 4-star spot actually punches way above its weight class.

The whole vibe here is refreshingly modern without being sterile – if that makes sense. The lobby has this interesting industrial-chic thing going on, with exposed concrete elements mixed with warm wood accents that somehow work perfectly together. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (I’ve stayed at plenty of places where you’re standing around for twenty minutes while they figure out their system), and the staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed – everything has a purpose, nothing feels like filler. The beds are actually comfortable, not just hotel-comfortable, and they’ve got blackout curtains that really work, which is rarer than you’d think.

What really impressed me though was the attention to those little details that most places completely overlook. The shower pressure is excellent, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and – this might sound weird – but the lighting is spot-on throughout the day. You can actually read comfortably in the evening without squinting or having that harsh overhead glare. The soundproofing is solid too; I barely heard any hallway noise, even on a busy weekend. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly these days feels like winning the lottery. The whole property has this calm, almost residential feel to it, like they’ve figured out how to make a hotel that doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a hotel. I’d definitely come back here – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right while adding enough personality to feel special.
