You know what caught me off guard about Loft 17 Arena? I wasn’t expecting much from the name – honestly sounded a bit generic – but this place has some serious character once you actually step inside. The 9.2 rating makes perfect sense after spending a few nights there, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The loft concept really works here, though it’s not just some trendy marketing thing they slapped on. These are actual converted spaces with those exposed brick details and industrial touches that feel authentic rather than forced. My room had these massive windows that let in incredible natural light during the day, and the ceilings were high enough that you never felt cramped. The floors have this worn wood look that somehow manages to feel both rustic and clean at the same time. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – like, they’ve got these reading nooks with actually comfortable seating (not just pretty furniture that looks good in photos), and the lighting is warm enough that you can actually relax in the evenings without feeling like you’re in a hospital.

The staff here really knows what they’re doing, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to navigate a new city. Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they gave me genuinely useful local recommendations instead of just handing over a generic tourist map. I appreciated that they remembered my name the next morning – small thing, but it matters. The common areas have this lived-in vibe where people actually hang out rather than just walk through, and I ended up having some great conversations with other travelers over coffee. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me the usual headache of driving in circles looking for a spot. The neighborhood itself has that perfect balance where you’re close enough to interesting stuff without being right in the middle of tourist chaos. Early mornings were surprisingly quiet considering the urban setting, and even on weekends the noise level stayed totally reasonable. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like staying at a well-designed friend’s apartment than a cookie-cutter hotel, this is definitely worth considering.

  Spotless studio flat, central but quiet.
  Beautifully appointed with washing machine, diswasher, full kitchen, TV and plenty of storage.
  Iron, hair dryer, kettle, sharp kitchen knife.. all great.
  Also the excellent roof patio.
  Fast symetric WiFi tops it off.
  Really good. Your cleaner deserves an award.
  
  What could be improved: Perfect. If I had to pick something, a small microwave would be handy. But that's looking very hard..

  Our entire stay was amazing. It far exceeded our expectations and the unit was far more than expected. Proximity to all tourist venues, sightseeing and transport was first class. Our host met us on arrival exactly as planned & provided all necessary information.

  Location is amazing. Flat very well furnished with washing machine and hanger for clothes, as well as nice kitchen appliances. Super cool shared terrace on the roof with views of the arena.
  
  What could be improved: Noisy industrial ventilation across the street, so not very comfy to let windows open. Windows close and reduce the noise well.
  The floor was not cleaned when we arrived (hair and crumbs on the floor in kitchen, bathroom and room), tooth glass with hair inside and not clean so I washed it myself. We had to ask the host who sent the cleaning lady the next morning.
  Dish washer clearly was missing salt and rinsing product, so the dishes in the cupboard had a soap remains, we had to rinse them all before use. When asked the host provided both quickly.
  No elevator.
