The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where the details just work, from the lighting that’s actually functional for reading to the fact that the WiFi doesn’t give up on you every twenty minutes.

But here’s the thing that’ll make or break it for you: location versus tranquility. Being this close to Ponte Pietra means you’re in the thick of things – not Times Square busy, but definitely not a sleepy corner either. During peak tourist season, you’ll hear conversations drifting up from the bridge area, especially in the evenings when couples and photographers camp out for sunset shots. Personally, I found it charming (there’s something romantic about overhearing fragments of different languages), but light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. The flip side is that you can walk to pretty much everything – the Arena, Juliet’s balcony (if that’s your thing), and some genuinely fantastic osterie that tourists usually miss because they’re not right on the main drags. I discovered this tiny wine bar called Osteria del Bugiardo just by wandering around the neighborhood at 6 PM when locals start their aperitivo ritual. That kind of serendipity happens when you’re staying somewhere that feels like part of the city rather than separate from it.

  The location and the place itself. So close to the center. The biggest plus was the parking. There’s a parking spacw, free of charge very very close to the loft (2-3 mins by foot). The loft is spacious and well designed. Fully equipped kitchen, clean sheets, comfy beds. The host was very friendly and responsive. I would book this again!

  A perfect location to discover Verona by foot. You are almost in the heart of the city, but without the usual congestion of a city center. It was a perfect choice for us.

  We had a great stay at the Loft Ponte Pietra. It has a beautifully designed interior and a great location. You can reach the old town center within 5-10 minutes. Also, there is free parking nearby. I would always come back.
