I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Loft Verona, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The word “loft” had me picturing some converted warehouse space, but this place actually surprised me in the best way. There’s something genuinely refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to oversell itself with fancy marketing speak, you know? The 8.0 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Verona, but it delivers exactly what you need without any pretense.

What I really appreciated was how the whole vibe feels authentically Italian rather than some cookie-cutter international hotel experience. The spaces have that effortless European style where everything looks casually elegant without being stuffy – sort of like staying at a well-traveled friend’s apartment, if that friend happened to have excellent taste. You’ll notice the attention to details that actually matter: proper lighting (none of those dim hotel bulbs that make you squint at everything), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and surprisingly good water pressure. I mean, these things shouldn’t be remarkable, but honestly, they often are when you’re traveling.

The location works really well if you want to experience Verona without being stuck right in the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions – and trust me, in a city this size, pretty much everything is walkable anyway – but far enough out that you’re not dealing with crowds of people taking selfies outside your window at 7 AM. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see actual locals going about their daily routines, which I always find more interesting than being surrounded by other tourists all the time. There’s something to be said for staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it exists solely for visitors. The staff seems genuinely helpful rather than going through the motions, and they actually know the area well enough to give you solid recommendations that go beyond the obvious spots everyone hits. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing a slice of real Italian hospitality rather than just efficient service.

  What could be improved: Nothing , all was good . You need a car or taxi to go to Verona center if you cannot walk.

  Lovely property, very unique. Comfortable and not too far from the main part of town as long as you can walk easily. The restaurants that were recommended were fantastic. We ate at Ai Pilot and zoster is Al boscare. Both great. Thank you Pier for the recommendation.

  Pier gave us the friendliest welcome and made us feel very looked after. He also went above and beyond by making sure we returned to a very clean loft after we were in the hospital for gastro.

  Lovely host Pier who gave us some fantastic recommendations in Verona. The accommodation had a well equipped shared living space with the fridge well stocked with water, beers and other drinks free for guests to take which was a great extra!
  
  What could be improved: Our room was located on the ground floor by the kitchen and we did find it a little noisy both from the kitchen and the rooms above us.

  We met Pier who was very welcoming and explained about the room and facilities. I really liked that we could help ourselves to snacks , water, beer . We did buy our own too . Close to lidl
