I mean, you’ve got these gorgeous high ceilings and original features, but the Wi-Fi actually works and the shower has decent pressure (trust me, that’s not always a given in historic Italian properties). What really got me was the attention to smaller details – the linens felt expensive, the lighting was warm and thoughtful, not those harsh overhead bulbs that make everything look terrible. And the staff… well, they seemed to genuinely care about making sure you had what you needed without being overly formal about it.

Actually, I think what sets this place apart is that it feels like someone’s beautiful home that they’ve opened up to guests, rather than a corporate hotel trying to manufacture charm. The common areas have this lived-in elegance – you know, books you’d actually want to read, comfortable seating that’s clearly been chosen for actual comfort rather than just looking good in photos. I spent way more time than planned just hanging out in their lounge area with a coffee, watching the light change through these incredible windows. The whole vibe is relaxed but refined, if that makes sense. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself slowing down a bit, taking longer over breakfast, maybe skipping that rushed morning sightseeing plan because you’re actually enjoying just being where you are. For a three-star hotel to pull off that kind of atmosphere – especially at this level of quality – it’s pretty impressive, honestly.

  Amazing location and just a short walk to the arena and the Piazza Erbe. Great view from the apartment of the castle. The apartment has lovely facilities, a comfortable bed and is in great condition.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment overlooks a busy tourist area and road, the vents allow a lot of noise inside.

  I like the location of the apartment. It is a pretty studio apt but a bit worn down.
  
  What could be improved: It doesnt seem that well clean. I guess it the norm in Italy, but was a pain to need to take out trash/recycles to the bin a block away.

  Amazing apartment in beautiful location. We loved sitting out on the balcony, overlooking Castle Vecchio. It was close to castle Vecchio Bridge where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook from scratch. Double bed was very comfy. Host was very responsive and helpful. A great base for exploring beautiful Verona.
  
  What could be improved: Sofa bed did not erect fully and we needed to prop the foot up with our backpacks. But comfy once this fix found.

  Very clean and new – kitchenette had all needs- bathroom new and spotless- bed very comfortable. Location central however if you are a light sleeper you will hear all the traffic and people outside especially weekends
  
  What could be improved: Soundproofing not adequate for the location- it being on corso castelvecchio which is extremely central and full of life
