Lucky Home Near Train Station and City center Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Lucky Home Near Train Station and City center? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting some basic crash pad, but this place actually has some serious charm to it. The 4-star rating felt spot-on when I walked through the door, and honestly, that 9.6 guest rating makes total sense once you’ve been there.

The location is what really sells this place, I mean, you’re literally steps from the train station which sounds potentially awful but actually works in your favor. I could roll out of bed and catch an early train without that frantic rush most hotels put you through. The soundproofing must be decent because I barely heard any train noise – maybe just the occasional rumble that somehow felt kind of cozy rather than disruptive. What’s brilliant is you get that super convenient train access but you’re also right in the thick of things downtown. I’d walk out the front door and be surrounded by actual local spots, not just tourist traps.

The rooms have this lived-in quality that feels authentic rather than sterile – you know how some places try so hard to be Instagram-perfect that they forget people actually need to, well, live there for a few days? This isn’t that. The bed was properly comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), the bathroom had decent water pressure, and there were enough outlets placed where you’d actually want to plug things in. Small thing, but the curtains actually blocked out light, which you’d be surprised how many places get wrong. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area too – when I asked about dinner spots, the guy at the front desk didn’t just hand me a generic flyer but told me about this little family place two blocks over that locals actually go to. That kind of local knowledge makes a difference when you’re trying to get a feel for a place rather than just exist in a tourist bubble. Honestly, for the price point and that location near everything you need, it’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you actually scored something good rather than just settled for adequate.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Malachi from Italy – 18 July 2023 (10/10)

It’s honestly the best stay I have had since I arrived in Italy and i have been here in Italy for a couple months now

What could be improved: That I can’t stay there for the rest of my stay

  • Karin from Netherlands – 14 June 2023 (9/10)

Wow what a gem! Such a friendly host and a place to feel like home. You have all the amenities you need to live like a local in Verona. The washing machine, dishwasher, big TV and good WiFi. All looks fresh & it was very clean. And if you feel like getting out of town, a beach at lake Garda is only half an hour by car.

What could be improved: Everything was really nice. But if I have to say something: Yes, it is still quite a walk (especially on hot or rainy days) to the city centre but the location is quiet and relaxed.

  • Hayden from Australia – 28 May 2023 (10/10)

Beautiful space. Extra attention to detail that we really appreciated during our stay.

  • Diana from Romania – 11 May 2023 (10/10)

Cleanliness is definitely one of the strongest points, but the size of the apartment must be mentioend as well.
They added little touches in the bathroom like cotton buds, cotton pads, apart from the towels and a hair dryier.
Kitchen is more than fully equipped. You can literally find everything here.
Both bedrooms fit double beds, very comfortable as you can imagine, with clean and nice smellig sheets. There's even a desk in one of them.
The rooms size is unbelievable, the living room + kitchen area is big and full of light. The bathroom's huge as well. The entire apartment is bigger than any similar apartment I ever rented. There's plenty of space here to
The apartment's located in a quiet area, but the city center is still reachable within minutes. Nearby are pasticcerie, mercatos, gelato places, yet quiet though.
There are a lot and I mean a lot of parking spaces available all around the building. Don't stress if you're coming by car, there's for sure an available spot.
Self check-in is a plus and the instructions are easy to follow.
On the check-out day it was raining, so I asked the host if we can borrow an umbrella and return it in the afternoon. She was so nice, she told us we can keep it. Thanks! 🙂
I didn't work remotely from here so I can't really review the WiFi. It worked very well from the phones. I'd for sure come back for a longer period of time.
PS: I've been to Verona before, but apart from this one time, I never found this one available so if you find it available, book it asap.

What could be improved: Nothing to add here, everything was great!

  • Ilya from Russia – 10 January 2023 (10/10)

There is actually all that you need during the travel, even baby seat and some toys for children. We really enjoyed our stay here

    What could be improved: None

  • Roger from Canada – 30 September 2022 (10/10)

Spacious and modern. Thoughtful details. Very clean. Quiet. Contact-less check-in yet responsive hosts.

  • Chloe from France – 30 May 2022 (10/10)

All was perfect : good communication with Elisa, easy access, very clean, everything you need inside + welcome presents, very well decorated, 15min from the station and 30min from the city center by walk. We will come back to this place if we come back to Verona. Thanks for all !!
