Lucky Home Near Train Station and City center Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Lucky Home Near Train Station and City center, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly scream boutique charm, but this four-star property surprised me in all the right ways. Located on Via Giorgio Vasari in the Borgo Milano district, it’s one of those places that gets everything right without making a big fuss about it. The fact that they offer free private parking right on-site immediately caught my attention — you know how tricky parking can be in Italian cities.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s what I love about this spot: you’re close enough to Verona‘s train station that you can literally walk there with your luggage, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually get some peace. The Borgo Milano area has this nice residential feel — there are local cafes where you’ll hear more Italian than English, and the walk into the historic center takes about 15 minutes on foot. I mean, couples are rating this place a 9.2 for location, and after staying here, I totally get why.
The Room Experience
My room was honestly better than I expected from the photos online. The space felt modern and clean, with that Italian attention to detail that makes everything just work smoothly. What struck me was how quiet it was — even though you’re near the train station, the soundproofing is solid. The bed was comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure. Small touches like good lighting and plenty of outlets near the bed show they’ve thought about what travelers actually need.
Practical Perks
Look, this isn’t a resort with a fancy spa or multiple restaurants, but it nails the fundamentals. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth — they helped me figure out the best walking route to the Arena di Verona and gave solid recommendations for dinner spots that locals actually frequent. The free parking alone probably saves you 20-25 euros a day compared to other places in the area, which adds up quickly if you’re staying for more than a night or two.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.6 rating isn’t just a fluke — this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s perfect for couples who want to explore Verona properly without dealing with the crowds and noise of staying right in the historic center. You get the authentic neighborhood feel during the day, easy access to everything worth seeing, and a genuinely comfortable place to crash at night. Plus, having your car safely parked and being able to hop on a train to Venice or Milan makes it a smart base for exploring beyond Verona too.

It’s honestly the best stay I have had since I arrived in Italy and i have been here in Italy for a couple months now
What could be improved: That I can’t stay there for the rest of my stayKarin from Netherlands – 14 June 2023 (9/10)
Wow what a gem! Such a friendly host and a place to feel like home. You have all the amenities you need to live like a local in Verona. The washing machine, dishwasher, big TV and good WiFi. All looks fresh & it was very clean. And if you feel like getting out of town, a beach at lake Garda is only half an hour by car.
What could be improved: Everything was really nice. But if I have to say something: Yes, it is still quite a walk (especially on hot or rainy days) to the city centre but the location is quiet and relaxed.Hayden from Australia – 28 May 2023 (10/10)
Beautiful space. Extra attention to detail that we really appreciated during our stay.

Cleanliness is definitely one of the strongest points, but the size of the apartment must be mentioend as well.
They added little touches in the bathroom like cotton buds, cotton pads, apart from the towels and a hair dryier.
Kitchen is more than fully equipped. You can literally find everything here.
Both bedrooms fit double beds, very comfortable as you can imagine, with clean and nice smellig sheets. There's even a desk in one of them.
The rooms size is unbelievable, the living room + kitchen area is big and full of light. The bathroom's huge as well. The entire apartment is bigger than any similar apartment I ever rented. There's plenty of space here to
The apartment's located in a quiet area, but the city center is still reachable within minutes. Nearby are pasticcerie, mercatos, gelato places, yet quiet though.
There are a lot and I mean a lot of parking spaces available all around the building. Don't stress if you're coming by car, there's for sure an available spot.
Self check-in is a plus and the instructions are easy to follow.
On the check-out day it was raining, so I asked the host if we can borrow an umbrella and return it in the afternoon. She was so nice, she told us we can keep it. Thanks! 🙂
I didn't work remotely from here so I can't really review the WiFi. It worked very well from the phones. I'd for sure come back for a longer period of time.
PS: I've been to Verona before, but apart from this one time, I never found this one available so if you find it available, book it asap.
What could be improved: Nothing to add here, everything was great!Ilya from Russia – 10 January 2023 (10/10)
There is actually all that you need during the travel, even baby seat and some toys for children. We really enjoyed our stay here

Chloe from France – 30 May 2022 (10/10)
All was perfect : good communication with Elisa, easy access, very clean, everything you need inside + welcome presents, very well decorated, 15min from the station and 30min from the city center by walk. We will come back to this place if we come back to Verona. Thanks for all !!
