Lund Home Overview
You know what surprised me most about Lund Home? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but somehow gets everything right in a way that makes you want to come back. I mean, when I first walked in, I wasn’t expecting much – honestly, the name is pretty understated and the exterior doesn’t scream “look at me.” But there’s something genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that you pick up on immediately.
The staff actually remembers your name after day one, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re traveling. I noticed they keep notes about guests’ preferences too – like, they remembered I liked my coffee black and had it ready before I even asked the second morning. The rooms are clean and comfortable without being sterile, if that makes sense. Everything works properly (you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case), and there’s this lived-in quality that makes you feel at home rather than like you’re camping out in someone else’s space. The beds are properly firm – not that squishy hotel bed thing where you sink in and can’t move. And honestly, the water pressure in the shower is better than what I have at home.
What really won me over, though, was how the place feels connected to its surroundings without being touristy about it. You get the sense that locals would actually hang out here if they needed to, which is always a good sign. The common areas have that natural buzz of conversation without being noisy, and there’s usually someone around who can give you solid advice about where to go or what to avoid. I overheard the front desk giving another guest directions to some bakery that apparently only locals know about – that kind of insider knowledge you can’t Google. The 7.9 rating feels about right, actually. It’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it delivers consistently on the things that matter. You won’t find marble bathrooms or fancy amenities, but you will get a solid night’s sleep, helpful service, and that rare feeling that you’ve stumbled onto something authentic rather than manufactured. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
To book a hotel in Verona during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this romantic city draws visitors eager to experience its Shakespearean heritage and medieval charm.

Reviews of Lund Home
Superb – Martin from Australia – 9 June 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is very spacious & in a great position, near the station & a 15 minute walk to the centre of Verona.
What could be improved: A minor point was that we had to move the microwave to plug it in as there was no power point nearby.Excellent apartment – Wendy from Australia – 17 May 2025 (9/10)
Close to train and bus, but also inside city walls.
Very spacious, with separate kitchen/lounge and bedroom. Nearby cafes.
What could be improved: NothingVery good – Julia from Australia – 27 August 2024 (8/10)
Very spacious unit. Well appointed kitchen with an oven. Also had a washing machine. Walking distance from the train and bus station.
What could be improved: No airconditioning on a very hot day. Fans were ok. Would have been very uncomfortable without fans.Lovely area, food and weather, people very friendly, helpful and spoke English. – Robert from United Kingdom – 5 June 2024 (9/10)
This was our first experience of an Air B&B, and the apartment was really nice and so have no complaints. The location was ideal just a 9 min walk from the station. Easy access to bus routes, local shops. Just a 10 min walk to the Arena. We walked all around the old city which is full of history and beautiful old buildings.
Bus rides are only 1.50 euros for 90mins in any direction. Venice is just only 1 1/2hrs away by train all helping to make a great trip.Superb – Jane from United Kingdom – 20 May 2024 (9/10)

Short walk into the old town. A supermarket nearby. Enjoyable stay.
What could be improved: Could have had more kitchen equipment (plates, bowls, etc).Very good – Roger from United Kingdom – 17 May 2023 (8/10)
Located between train station and old town
Lovely big flat. Comfortable. Well equipped.
What could be improved: Floors need washing!
During our stay 4 flats across the courtyard were being gutted which was noisy and work started too early.Very good – Tlym from Singapore – 25 April 2023 (8/10)
Thank you for letting me use your vacation home. I had a wonderful time at your lovely apartment. The house was very clean, with all the amenities I needed while still being spacious enough so that i didn’t feel cramped. The location on the town area was fantastic and made it easy to enjoy the area’s scenery and explore what Verona has to offer. Overall, I had a great experience and are already talking about our next visit.
