I’ll be honest – when I first heard about MMeSuite Arena di Verona by Maisonme Collection, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But after spending a few nights there, I get it now. This 4-star spot is actually one of those places that surprises you in the best way, especially if you’re planning to catch something at the famous Arena.

The location is what really sold me on this place. You know how some hotels claim to be “near” major attractions but you end up walking twenty minutes? Not here. You’re genuinely close to the Arena – I mean, you can practically hear the rehearsals from some rooms, which is either charming or slightly annoying depending on whether you’re into opera or trying to sleep off jet lag. The suites themselves have this modern Italian design thing going on that doesn’t feel too sterile or hotel-chain generic. There’s actual character here, with nice touches like proper espresso machines (not those sad pod things) and bathrooms that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without being over the top about it.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know Verona – like, really know it. They didn’t just hand me a tourist map and wish me luck. The front desk guy (wish I remembered his name) gave me this whole rundown about which restaurants fill up during opera season and which little wine bars the locals actually go to. He even warned me about the crowds on Sunday afternoons near Juliet’s balcony, which saved me from that tourist trap headache. The rating of 8.7 makes perfect sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but everything just… works. The Wi-Fi is solid, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof, and honestly, the beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept well despite being excited to explore. You know what’s funny? I ended up spending more time in the suite than I planned because it felt like a proper little apartment rather than just a place to crash. If you’re doing the whole Verona experience – Arena show, wine tasting in the hills, wandering around those gorgeous medieval streets – this place gives you a solid home base without breaking the bank or making you feel like you’re staying in some soulless business hotel.

  Perfect location. Comfy bed. Nespresso machine and pods. Stylish apartment. Nice and quiet given how close the location is to Piazza Bra.

  The property was in an excellent location to explore Verona, close to the arena and various restaurants and bars. It was comfortable and secure. Aircon was a major plus in the heat!

  10/10 for location. In the heart of the city, a few minutes from Piazza Bra and the Arena. Juliet's Balcony 5 minutes away and Castelvecchio very close by. Lots of shops, restaurants and attractions within a few minutes walk, supermarket around the corner to stock up on provisions. Very easy to gain access due to instructions via whatsapp and responsive owner. .Very clean and very comfy bed and good shower. Good wifi connection. Kettle, toaster,microwave, hob, washing machine and Netflix to sit back and relax after a day exploring this beautiful city. Shutters on windows to block out light in the morning. Very quiet regardless of proximity to the main tourist area. Would highly recommend for a visit to Verona
