New Verona Business and Fun G B Rossi Friendly Overview
First Impressions
Walking into New Verona Business and Fun G B Rossi Friendly, you immediately get the sense that this three-star hotel knows exactly what it’s doing. The name might be a mouthful, but honestly, it sets the right expectations — this place genuinely balances business travelers and leisure guests without feeling like it’s trying too hard to be something it’s not. The lobby has that clean, modern feel that business folks appreciate, but there’s enough warmth here that couples don’t feel like they’ve stumbled into a corporate conference center.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I really appreciate about the Borgo Roma location — you’re actually in a proper Veronese neighborhood rather than stuck in some touristy bubble. Via Bengasi sits in this residential area where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, which gives you a much more authentic feel for the city. You know what’s great? You can easily reach Verona’s historic center, but when you come back in the evening, you’re in this quieter zone where you can actually get some rest. The area has good transport connections too, so getting around is straightforward without the chaos of being right in the thick of things.
The Rooms
The rooms strike that sweet spot between functional and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. I mean, the beds are genuinely comfortable (which isn’t always a given at this price point), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, with decent water pressure that actually stays consistent. What impressed me most was the attention to details like proper lighting for working and blackout curtains that actually block light — small things that make a real difference when you’re trying to sleep or get work done.
Business Meets Leisure
This hotel really delivers on its promise of serving both business and leisure travelers well. The WiFi is solid throughout the property (I tested it extensively), and there are proper work spaces if you need to get things done. But here’s the thing — it doesn’t feel sterile or overly corporate. Couples clearly love this place, and after staying here, I can see why. The atmosphere is relaxed enough for a romantic getaway, but professional enough that you won’t feel out of place if you’re here for work. The staff seems to understand this balance too, adapting their service style depending on what guests need.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve experienced what this place offers. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Verona, but it consistently delivers on the fundamentals that actually matter to travelers. The location gives you that local Verona experience while keeping you connected to everything you want to see and do. Plus, there’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t oversell itself — New Verona Business and Fun G B Rossi Friendly promises a solid, reliable stay, and that’s exactly what you get. For the price point and the genuine quality of service, it’s honestly hard to find fault with this place.
Apartments in Verona provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Italian markets and experience daily life in historic Renaissance neighborhoods.

Albaroma from United States – 14 November 2024 (8/10)
This was a nice little apartment in a great location. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Everything was very clean and orderly.
What could be improved: I am not a fan of the automatic light in the bathroom, and I would have preferred a different heating system as we couldn't get it to work properluAlbaroma from United States – 11 August 2024 (7/10)
The rooms were decorated very nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the rooms were a good size. There was enough space to store clothing and toiletries. The location was also very good, especially if you have a car. It was only a 15 minute ride to Verona, and the area had a variety of shops and restaurants, although not many were walking distance. There was plenty of parking since it was on a quiet street. I appreciated the hot water boiler for making instant coffee and the packaged croissants.and other breakfast foods that were provided. The owner, Irene, was very helpful when we had any issues with our room and even allowed us to switch rooms, which I appreciated.
What could be improved: We had a very difficult time getting the air conditioning to work properly. We had to put it down to 17 degrees Celsisus to get it to cool off the room, but there is no way it was anywhere close to that temperature. I believe that the air conditioning unit must have been set up to not go below a certain temperature, and there was no way to see what the actual temperature was. In addition, the remote control was not.easy to understand. It would have been helpful to have instructions provided to explain how to use it. We wound up having to switch rooms because of the AC, but it wasn't much better in the second room. Someone I knew rented another room and complained that the AC didn't work well in that room either. I did not need the room extremely cold. I would have been ok with 24 or 25 degrees Celsius. It was particularly a problem because it was necessary to insert the room card into a slot to start the electricity in the room, so the first 10 to 15 minutes of being in the room were very uncomfortable. Another thing that bothered us was the automatic light in the hallway and bathroom. I wish they would dismantle it. It made it difficult to get ready while someone else was sleeping. Lastly, I would have appreciated some travel-sized shampoo and conditioner and bodywash. The liquid soap dispenser on the sink didn't work very well. I am not sure I would stay here again, and I definitely wouldn't stay in the summer.Adrian from Romania – 29 April 2024 (9/10)

Anna from Canada – 12 September 2023 (8/10)
The beds were very cozy, the room was very clean and bright. We loved that it was away from the main part of Verona, but very close to bus stops that were very easy to use – and most took us direct to the train station or into Old Town. Irene, the host, was also quick to communicate and even surprised us with breakfast during our stay!

Everything was amazing! The owner was very sweet and gave us many recommendations of where to go for sightseeing and to try the best gelato and food. The room was stylishly decorated and smelled great. The bathroom clean and setup with small bottles of shampoo. The shared patio and kitchen area very cosy, and I can't forget to mention the free coffee! Everything was perfect and this was probably the nicest place we've stayed at during our 2 and a half week trip in 7 different cities. 🙂

Beautiful and very comfortable. If you don’t mind driving in the center, and like peaceful accomodation, it’s perfect.
What could be improved: You need a car to get in the center.
