The bed is positioned so you get these nice cross breezes if you open the windows, which is perfect because the area stays surprisingly cool even in warmer months.

What really sold me on this place, though, is San Giacomo Park right across the street. I discovered it by accident on my second morning when I was just wandering around with my coffee – it’s this lovely green space where you’ll find joggers doing their morning runs, elderly couples feeding pigeons, and parents with small children on the playground. It became my go-to spot for reading or just decompressing after long days of sightseeing. The park also connects to some walking paths that wind through the neighborhood, so if you’re into exploring on foot (which I definitely recommend), you’ve got built-in routes right outside your door. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving – street parking mostly, and you’ll want to pay attention to the signs because enforcement is real – but honestly, the public transport connections from this area are solid enough that you probably won’t need a car anyway. The only thing I’d mention is that the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear your neighbors occasionally, but it never bothered me much since everyone seemed to be respectful about noise levels.
