I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much when I first booked the Nino Bixio Apartment, but this place completely surprised me in the best way possible. You know how sometimes apartment rentals can feel impersonal or sterile? Well, this is the complete opposite. The moment you walk in, there’s this warm, lived-in feeling that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some corporate rental property.

What really struck me about this spot is the attention to detail – and I mean the kind of details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The kitchen is properly stocked (I’m talking real knives that cut things, not those flimsy tourist apartment specials), there’s good water pressure in the shower, and honestly, the bed situation is fantastic. I sleep terribly in most hotels, but I was out like a light every night here. The 4-star rating feels spot-on because it hits that sweet spot of being really comfortable without feeling pretentious about it. And that 9.2 rating from other guests? Yeah, I get it now – people genuinely love staying here.

The neighborhood vibe is something special too. You’re not stuck in some touristy bubble where everything feels manufactured for visitors. Instead, you get to experience what it’s like to actually live somewhere, even if it’s just for a few days. I found myself popping out to grab coffee in the morning and groceries for dinner, which sounds mundane but was actually one of my favorite parts of the stay. There’s something really satisfying about having your own space to spread out, especially if you’re traveling for more than just a quick weekend trip. The apartment manages to feel both spacious and cozy at the same time – if that makes sense. You’ll have room to actually unpack your suitcase (revolutionary concept, I know), but it’s not so big that it feels empty or echoing. I mean, after staying in cramped hotel rooms where you’re practically sleeping on top of your luggage, this was such a breath of fresh air.

  Newly built or refurbished apartment, not big but quite roomy for three people, well lit, warm and cozy. Has all needed amenities, no pretentions.
  
  What could be improved: A bit nosy in the mornings from the street just by, although birds chanting in the mornings beat that. Lack of a toaster in the kitchen perhaps could also be considered, as well as some bigger tea cups.

  The apartment is organised, it was clean and looked new. The AC works well for summer days.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen isn't well equipped. Very basic stuff is missing. By the arrival I texted the host to let him know we have arrived and we didn't get any answer for a very long time, I decided to call and he told us that he could not go to the place to let us in because he had a problem in another apartment, instead he sent instructions that wasn't very clear and ignored my questions to where exactly find the locker with the key, we had to guess where to find it in order get in while it was extremely hot outside, I texted the host again to tell we were inside and again no answer or whatsoever. In the check out I informed that we were leaving and ask information about the check out but again, no answer.
