You know what really struck me about Nuova Opera Rooms? It’s one of those places that feels way more expensive than it actually is – I mean, we’re talking about a 4-star property that punches well above its weight class. When I first walked into the lobby, I honestly thought I’d accidentally wandered into some boutique 5-star spot. The design has this really thoughtful, almost theatrical elegance that makes total sense once you realize “opera” is right there in the name.

The rooms themselves are what really won me over though. Everything feels intentionally curated – not in that sterile, magazine-perfect way that some hotels go for, but more like someone with actual taste put real thought into every detail. The lighting is particularly well done (you can actually read without straining your eyes, which honestly shouldn’t be remarkable but somehow is), and the beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re sleeping on a marshmallow. I’m usually pretty skeptical of hotel ratings, but that 9.1 score? Yeah, I get it. The housekeeping is meticulous without being intrusive, and the whole place has this calm, sophisticated vibe that makes you want to slow down a bit.

What I really appreciated – and this is something you don’t always think about until you’re there – is how quiet everything is. The soundproofing is excellent, which means you’re not listening to your neighbor’s TV or the elevator dings at all hours. The staff has this wonderful way of being incredibly helpful without hovering, and they clearly know their stuff when it comes to local recommendations. I ended up having some of the best meals of my trip based on their suggestions alone. Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places that look great in photos but fall short on the details that actually matter when you’re trying to sleep or get ready in the morning. This isn’t one of those places. Nuova Opera Rooms gets those little things right, and honestly, that’s what transforms a decent stay into one of those trips where you’re already planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  It was just great.
  Everything.
  From the room, to the shared balcony you can enjoy the view, and the great staff.
  The place is located right at a bus station so it’s convenient .
  And you have multiple line buses to take you to the city center.

  Nice room, clean and cozy, easy to access. The rooftop terrace is super, the kitchen has all you need.

  What could be improved: The pram wouldn’t fit in the lift (it’s a double buggy), but we found a safe space to leave it downstairs.

  What could be improved: There is parking available 150 metres away in a parking lot make sure you swap the tickets over to reception before returning to your car to pay only 10€ otherwise you pay 21€ .

  Everything was perfect, it was the best stay in Italy overall! Highly recommended! 🙂 Really perfect. Very clean (not so usual in Italy), great terace, beautiful view, just 20 minutess on foot from city center. 🙂 I will come back with my boyfriend definitely!
