Orti Manara Design Apartments Overview

You know what really caught me off guard about Orti Manara Design Apartments? I walked in expecting your typical modern rental space, but this place actually has soul. The design is thoughtfully curated – I’m talking about those little touches that make you pause and think “okay, someone who actually cares about aesthetics put this together.” The furniture feels substantial, not like those flimsy pieces you find in most short-term rentals, and honestly, the lighting alone makes you want to linger over your morning coffee way longer than you planned.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’re not completely isolated from city life, but there’s this peaceful quality that’s hard to find these days. The apartment I stayed in had these gorgeous windows that let in incredible natural light during the day – perfect for those of us who work remotely or just like to read without squinting. The kitchen actually functions like a real kitchen too (you’d be surprised how rare that is). I ended up cooking more than I intended because everything I needed was there, and well-organized. The shower pressure was solid, which might sound trivial until you’ve spent a week somewhere with a sad trickle of lukewarm water.

Here’s the thing about places with a 9.5 rating – sometimes you wonder if it’s too good to be true, but this one earns it through all those small details that add up. The check-in process was smooth, the WiFi actually worked reliably (crucial for me), and the whole space felt clean without that overpowering chemical smell some places have. I also loved that it didn’t feel sterile or hotel-like – more like staying in a friend’s really well-appointed apartment. The design elements have this modern edge without being cold, if that makes sense. There are these subtle touches throughout that show someone put real thought into making guests comfortable, not just cramming in as much furniture as possible. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself taking photos not for social media, but because you want to remember how good design can make a space feel. Honestly, I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places that felt more generic than this apartment.

Exploring Verona offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Italy’s city of love, from its ancient Roman ruins to its Renaissance palaces and world-renowned romantic literature connections.

Very nice touches within apartment upon arrival, leaving welcome snacks and drinks, host met us when arriving, and shown us around the apartment so that we knew everything there was to know.

  • Paul from United Kingdom – 23 December 2024 (10/10)

Great apartment in the centre of beautiful Verona. Well appointed and lots of space. Would highly recommend for a weekend stay or longer. We had 4 days and did a trip to Padova and Venice on the train.

What could be improved: Nothing to dislike.

  • Laura from United Kingdom – 21 December 2024 (10/10)

Everything absolutely stunning, high quality finish and very stylish. Had everything you needed and even gave us a welcome gift

What could be improved: The WiFi didn’t work for one night so we couldn’t watch tv but the host rectified it the next day

  • Jane from Ireland – 6 December 2024 (8/10)

Great apartment in a great location. Very stylish and clean. Just around the corner from the arena. Superb location. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. Would recommend the apartment itself.

What could be improved: Received a number of messages in the 2 weeks before our arrival to organise a time to meet at apartment on day of arrival. We were travelling so didn't have a definite time in mind a week in advance. An automatic check in would be better, and more relaxing. Also, when the guy met us at the apartment, he offered to help with anything we needed. We contacted the agency the day before our departure to ask if they could book a taxi for us the next morning as we had an early flight. Thought this would be a simple request, but received a message saying they wouldn't do it as we needed a taxi for a private reason…I didn't really understand the problem. They sent a link to local app, but it didn't go to airport! only train station and a few other places. There was a taxi number left in apartment but it was in Italian so difficult to book! So it caused a bit of unnecessary stress. Please don't offer to help if you're not willing to!

  • Jude from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (10/10)

We had a very quiet and comfortable few nights stay at the apartment which is conveniently located close to the arena. It was super clean and well equipped with lots of nice touches and even a few Xmas decorations! Thank you to Valentina for her hospitality and the gifts of Prosecco, crisps, chocolate and a pretty glass Christmas tree which is a lovely momento. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely apartment for your stay in Verona.

What could be improved: Nothing it’s perfect.

  • George from United States – 22 November 2024 (10/10)

It was very clean (spotless) BUT most importantly was it was quiet. Normally this means a lousy location. Not here. This was about one block from the Verona Arena area (many restaurants) and a wine bar (Sivino's) that also held bags via Bounce (app only). This was an incredible location but just off the beaten path to be incredibly & wonderfully quiet.
Verona (the town) was a bit of a pleasent surprise to us. Absolutely would stay again.

Also — the taxi stand was on the opposite side of the arena. Very easy to comute to/from anywhere (usually the train station) as we did day trips to Lago di Garda & Venice from here. If it were later in the year, could have gone skiing. Aweosme place & city!

  • Melissa from Canada – 28 June 2023 (10/10)

everything about this apartment was perfect for our week long stay in Verona. it was very spacious and clean and in a perfect location – close to the busy piazza bra and the arena but so, so quiet. and a quick walk to the local parking garage. the air conditioning was lovely to come home to since we were in Verona during a heat wave. I also loved how secure it was. being at ground level I’m sometimes worried about security but there were 2 locked gates and two locked doors someone would have to get through to access our apartment. perfectly secure. tons of clothing storage space and the kitchen had everything we needed. oh! and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out in the morning. mattresses in Italy (and Europe in general) tend to be uncomfortable but this one was perfection even for one person who likes a soft mattress and one who likes a firmer mattress. somehow this mattress managed to be perfect for both of us. the management staff was lovely and very responsive and left us a very nice welcome basket of goodies to eat. all in all, a perfect stay. I would definitely return.

What could be improved: can’t think of anything we didn’t like about the property.
