Palazzo Cinque Greenview Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Palazzo Cinque Greenview? The name sounds way more grandiose than what you actually get – and honestly, that’s not a bad thing. This 3-star place has this refreshingly unpretentious vibe that I wasn’t expecting. When I walked into the lobby, it felt more like stepping into someone’s well-appointed home rather than a sterile hotel chain property. The greenview part of the name actually makes sense once you’re there – there are these lovely garden views from quite a few rooms that really do make you forget you’re in the middle of everything.
The staff here genuinely seems to care, which is getting harder to find these days. I mean, the front desk guy remembered my coffee preference by day three, and the housekeeping team actually folded my random pile of clothes (I wasn’t expecting that level of attention to detail from a 3-star). The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, decent-sized bathrooms, and beds that are actually comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a crick in my neck. That 8.9 rating starts making sense when you realize it’s all these small touches adding up. The air conditioning works properly, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire stay.
What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think with a rating that high it would be packed with noisy tourists, but the crowd tends to be more low-key travelers and business folks who actually want to sleep. The breakfast situation is solid too, nothing fancy but they do this really good local pastry thing that I ended up looking forward to each morning. If I’m being completely honest, the elevator is a bit slow and sometimes the hot water takes a minute to kick in, but these feel like minor quirks rather than deal-breakers. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting more value than you paid for, which is pretty rare these days.

What could be improved: Would have preferred entry instructions to be provided prior to arrivalDesmond from United Kingdom – 9 July 2024 (9/10)

Location
What could be improved: Plugs did not work with my travel adapter. Most were old style sockets, we had to go buy adapter at local super market.Kathryn from United Kingdom – 6 September 2023 (9/10)
5 minutes walk from the arena, and 20 mins walk from the station, location was in a quiet side street.
All rooms with air conditioning, very welcome.
Both bedrooms and the kitchen lead out to the long balcony which runs the length of the apartment.
Kitchen well equipped, washing up liquid, a scourer and tea towel provided.
Not much of an indoor seating area but we sat outside.
Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, quiet. The neighbours were lovely too.
Comfy, not ultra modern but you can see this from the pictures, location great, quiet and they let us in to the apartment from 12.30.
I would recommend to friends and would stay againVuks from Estonia – 25 August 2023 (9/10)
Cleanliness, location, bath etc
What could be improved: I needed to iron clothes, but there wasn't an ironJennifer from Switzerland – 28 June 2023 (8/10)
This apartment is ideally located in a quiet side street, only a few minutes’ walk from the arena. There’s even a bakery just around the corner – perfect for breakfast.
There are two bedrooms, one large one with a double bed and a smaller one with two single beds. There are also two bathrooms, one quite simple with just a shower and one very large with a huge bathtub plus a separate shower. We enjoyed having the balcony for breakfast or an apero in the evening. The kitchen is large enough for 4 people to eat comfortably but it is very basically kitted out. There were no teatowels or cloths.
I appreciated the easy communication with the property owners either over Booking.com or directly and we were given a personal welcome to the apartment.
There is no official parking but we were able to park on the street with no problem. You just need to make sure you keep up with the payments.
What could be improved: Nothing, apart from the missing towels and cloths in the kitchen.Carolyn from United Kingdom – 23 June 2023 (8/10)
Excellent location in historic centre of Verona.

it was clean
What could be improved: it was very dreary & dark, not very welcoming.
Beds quite hardLarissa from Belgium – 15 August 2022 (8/10)
Great location and incredibly calm. good beds, good clean bathrooms, very nice terrace.
What could be improved: The property lacks some things: hair dryer, iron table and iron, towels for drying dishes.Darren from United Kingdom – 2 August 2022 (9/10)
The apartment was as advertised, in a central, safe location and walking distance to all prime facilities. It was clean, spacious, air conditioned and with two bathrooms great for the family. Verona is a wonderful city and highly recommended. The Opera is a must do event, stunning.
What could be improved: Minor feedback would be to have tea towel for drying dishes as with the minimum crockery and cutlery for 4 x people drying is needed to ensure availability for next drinks, food etc.
