The thing is, when you see that 9.7 rating, you might think it’s one of those places that’s all show and no substance, but I was genuinely impressed by how they’ve managed to keep that authentic palazzo feel without sacrificing comfort. The rooms have this perfect balance – you’ve got these gorgeous high ceilings and original architectural details that make you feel like you’re living in a piece of history, but then the bedding is absolutely divine and the bathrooms are sleek without being cold. Actually, the shower pressure alone deserves a mention because, let’s be real, that can make or break a stay. The staff seems to genuinely care about getting the details right too, which you notice in little things like how they remember your preferences or the way they handle special requests without making you feel like you’re asking for the moon.

What I really loved, though, is how the place manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. During the day, there’s this lovely quiet energy – you can hear the soft sounds of daily life drifting in, but it never feels intrusive. The common areas have this lived-in elegance that invites you to actually use them, not just admire them as you walk by. I found myself lingering over coffee in the morning just because the atmosphere was so perfectly relaxed. And here’s something I appreciated – the lighting throughout is warm and thoughtful, not those harsh overhead lights that make everything feel clinical. It’s clear someone put real thought into how the space would actually feel to live in, even temporarily. The only tiny thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs everything to be completely soundproof, the charm of staying in a historic building does mean you’ll occasionally hear life happening around you – but honestly, I found it added to the authentic character rather than detracting from it.

  Met the owner upon arrive to receive the keys. The view was of their back secluded parking area which was unique in itself. You had a key to the garage (from the alley) that you walked through to get to your room, which was also locked. So, very safe. The room was great – clean, spacious and very modern and had everything we needed. It was located in a great location – easy to walk to good restaurants and activities. The TIM Music Awards were going on in the Arena di Verona while we were there. Great shopping and eating in the area!

  Beautiful restructured apartment in a historic palace. Large bedroom and kitchen, equipped with everything you need – plates, pots, coffee machine, boiler, water and tea bags upon arrival. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Central location with nice restaurants around. Super friendly staff who allowed us to park in the building and late check-out.

  What a gem of an apartment! Lovely and spacious, with comfortable beds and everything you need. Just 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, 7 minutes to the main tourist areas & 10 mins walk to the train station (don’t take a cab-too expensive)
