I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Palio Garden Suite, I wasn’t expecting much from what seemed like another boutique property. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller places absolutely knock it out of the park, and this is definitely one of those times. The moment you step through the entrance, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about creating something special here rather than just filling rooms.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance that upscale feel without being stuffy about it. The suites themselves are genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your entire suitcase without playing Tetris with your belongings. The garden aspect isn’t just marketing fluff either; there are these lovely outdoor spaces that feel like little pockets of calm where you can actually hear birds instead of traffic. I spent way more time than I planned just sitting out there with my morning coffee, which honestly became the highlight of each day. The staff seems to get that travelers want to feel settled, not rushed – they’re helpful without hovering, and they actually remember your name after the first day.

Here’s the thing that really impressed me: the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The lighting is warm and adjustable (thank god, because I’m so tired of harsh hotel lighting), there’s proper counter space in the bathroom, and the beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night. I also noticed they keep the common areas at a comfortable temperature – you know how some places blast the AC until you need a jacket indoors? None of that here. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, but everything just works the way it should. I’d definitely go back, and honestly, I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends who were planning trips to the area. It’s one of those places that gets the fundamentals right while adding just enough special touches to make you feel like you made a smart choice.

  L appartement en lui même est très bien, situé à 30 minutes du centre, 15 de la gare à pieds.

  What could be improved: Schon eng mit 5 Personen (Betten, Tisch) aber machbar für ein paar Tage. Balkon wegen Luftablass Klimaanlage nicht nutzbar außer für Wäsche. Das nahmen wir aufgrund der Hitze aber gerne in Kauf.
