Piano Tre Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Piano Tre? The name had me expecting some sort of music-themed boutique place, but honestly, it’s just a solid, unpretentious three-star that gets the basics absolutely right. I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times I left thinking “why don’t more hotels just focus on doing the simple things well?”
The whole place has this quietly confident vibe – nothing flashy, but everything works exactly like it should. The rooms are spotless (I mean genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy), and they’ve got this knack for making a standard double feel more spacious than it actually is. The beds are properly comfortable, which honestly isn’t a given at this price point, and the bathrooms are updated without trying too hard to be trendy. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – you’re not going to hear your neighbors having conversations or the elevator pinging all night, which is huge if you’re a light sleeper like me.
The staff here actually remembers you, which is sort of rare these days. They’re not overly chatty, but they’ll give you real recommendations if you ask – not just the tourist traps everyone suggests. Check-in is smooth, no drama, and they seem to genuinely care that you have what you need. The breakfast situation is better than expected too, though don’t go in expecting a massive spread. It’s more like a really good continental setup with proper coffee and fresh pastries that don’t taste like they’ve been sitting out since yesterday. I actually found myself looking forward to it, which says something. The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me – this isn’t the kind of place that’ll blow your mind with fancy amenities, but it delivers consistently on comfort and service without any of the pretension you sometimes get at boutique spots. If you’re the type who values a good night’s sleep and genuine hospitality over Instagram-worthy lobby moments, Piano Tre hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Great location. Lovely building, loved the character. Comfortable surroundings.
What could be improved: We did not receive a breakfast. There were no instructions on how to receive one if it was supposed to be included.Borboni from Australia – 18 February 2025 (9/10)
Clean and cozy, good location and very nice and welcoming owners

I didn't get to meet anyone who worked there but had contact with them through whatsapp all the time! My room was ready before check in time which was great as I arrived early to Verona. Self check in process was explained and very easy to do. The room was cosy, had a small table and chairs and tv too! The heater/aircon worked great & bathroom was very big! It's close to main attractions!
What could be improved: There was a bit of a weird smell coming from the bathroom but was fine if you closed the door! Did not bother me anywayCarlos from United States – 19 December 2024 (9/10)
It’s spacious, has a couch & coffee table, a table for 2 and very clean. Loved the location and price. There’s a restaurant right next door and everything is a short walk away
What could be improved: Carrying luggage up the stairs, but good for a small daily workout.Richard from United Kingdom – 22 November 2024 (9/10)
The room is absolutely lovely, very modern, spotless and really comfy. Bright and spacious with all you need inside. Fridge with an honesty "bar". As we were driving and didn't want the hassle of having to sort out yet another ZTL pass, we decided to to stay outside of the ZTL and this B&B was ideally located and very convenient as it was less than 10 mins walk to the historic centre and 3 mins walk to a safe car park. I would absolutely recommend and would 100% stay there again if we were to return to lovely Verona.

easy access to the room. great location. clean and comfortable room. The maps and restaurant recommendations specially prepared by the hosts are very useful. It was also nice that we could leave our bags at the reception the day we checked out.
