What really sold me on this place though was how genuine everything felt. The 8.0 rating makes sense when you stay there – it’s not perfect (the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming), but the things that matter actually work well. Check-in was straightforward, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges, and the staff seemed to actually care about helping rather than just going through the motions. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality that I really like – you’ll hear normal city sounds, people going about their daily lives, but it’s not the kind of place where you’re kept awake by sirens or late-night party crowds. Actually, I found the gentle hum of activity kind of comforting after staying in some overly quiet places that felt a bit eerie.

The practical stuff works in your favor here too. Parking isn’t a nightmare if you’re driving, and you’re close enough to things that matter without being right in the thick of tourist chaos. I noticed a lot of locals in the area, which is always a good sign – it means you’re staying somewhere real rather than a tourist bubble. The grocery store nearby actually has decent prices, and there’s this little café about two blocks away that serves proper coffee, not the watery stuff you sometimes get in hotel lobbies. Honestly, for the price point and the genuine apartment feel, Poloni Apartment hits that sweet spot where you get good value without feeling like you’re roughing it or overpaying for unnecessary luxury.

  Location & air conditioning. Close to train station, good restaurants, cafes & Eurospar.

  Muy buen lugar de alojamiento. Amplio, cómodo, limpio con todos los elementos de confort necesarios para una buena estadía. Camas cómodas y buena blanqueria. Excelente ubicación atención Muy recomendable !!!

  Es ist eine Ferienwohnung in guter Lage. Sie befindet sich ca. 7 Gehminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt.
  Die Sauberkeit war außergewöhnlich super. Ich habe noch nie eine so saubere Unterkunft erhalten.
  Die Wohnung hatte zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder und einen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Kochzeile.
  Außerdem gab es einen Balkon.
  Ab ca 22:00 Uhr ist es sehr ruhig.
  Ach ja, W-lan ist auch verfügbar, und in jedem Zimmer befindet sich ein Fernseher.
  
  What could be improved: Eigentlich gibt es nichts schlechtes. Aber der Vollständigkeit halber:
  Man kann keine Parkplätze mitbuchen. Man parkt für 2€ die Stunde auf der Straße oder für 22€ am Tag im Arena Parkhaus (ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuß).
  Es handelt sich um eine Stadtwohnung. Somit sieht man natürlich die Häuser des bürgerlichen Veronas, und nicht die Arena (das sollte aber jedem bewusst sein)

  Wir würden wieder kommen, wenn wir nochmal nach Verona reisen.

  What could be improved: There was a problem to get back security deposit, it did not work automatically as promised and had to write repeatedly to get it back. Took more than a month since our stay there

  What could be improved: Host tried to charge, using my credit card credentials without my approval nor prior notification, 35eur fee because we left the trash in the garbage bin and for not washing the dishes ourselves. Upon my complain transaction has been reversed.
  It was a surprise since apartment has been left in same condition as upon entry with no damage and no dirt, nor garbage on the floor or anything similar.
  
  During booking, I opted to pay upon arrival, however host charged me immediately upon booking, few days prior to arrival?! When I asked why over whatsapp, host ignored my question – never replied.
  
  I did not suffer damage, however not a pleasant experience to see someone use your card info and money deducted when you are not expecting.
  
  Price was definitely not worth the overall experience and stress over extra charge attempt issue. Stay was just 2 nights.
