I found myself lingering in the common areas way longer than I usually do at hotels, partly because the atmosphere is so inviting, but also because you can tell they’ve put real thought into creating spaces where people actually want to spend time.

What really sets this place apart – and I don’t say this lightly – is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between personal attention and giving you space to breathe. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that feels authentic rather than staged, if that makes sense. You’ll notice little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience, not just the Instagram potential. The bedding is the kind you sink into after a long day of exploring, and honestly, the shower pressure alone is worth mentioning (you’d be surprised how many places get this basic thing wrong). There’s also something to be said for their attention to sound – the place is blissfully quiet, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. I actually slept through the night without earplugs, which for me is pretty much a miracle. The morning routine here feels unhurried too, with breakfast service that doesn’t make you feel like you’re on a conveyor belt rushing you out the door.

  The location is convenient if you want access to both the main train station and the historic heart of the city – being between the two. The street isn't particularly scenic but it's only a short walk into the charming parts of town. The communal kitchen/living room is a great 'extra'!
  
  What could be improved: Not being able to check-in during the afternoon (the HOTTEST part of the day) is a bit rough, especially because access is all managed remotely (with instructions and a code sent to your mobile) so it's not clear why.

  Alberto was very communicative and friendly throughout. The check in process was easy and the room was spacious and clean. The shared facilities with coffee machine and wine were much appreciated and quiet. The location was 10 mins from the arena and the station. Would highly recommend and would visit again!

  The location is perfect. The room was really spacious with plenty of storage space. Everything was tidy and clean. The shared area was an added bonus, with drinks and snacks in the fridge for all.
  
  What could be improved: The only issue we had was on the last day check out was at 11am. We were finishing up in our room when we got a knock on the door from the cleaner at 10:45. We let her know we were nearly done but she shook her head and walked off. We thought this was very rude of her, considering we were still within the check out time. This is no reflection on host or the stay in general, just a little inconvenience
