You know what caught me off guard about PURA APARTMENT? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, with a name like “PURA” – which honestly made me think of some minimalist spa retreat – I was expecting something completely different when I first walked in.

The thing is, this isn’t your typical hotel experience, and I think that’s actually the point. It feels more like you’re staying at a really well-organized friend’s place rather than checking into some corporate chain. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I’m talking actual room to spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The kitchenette situation is legit too, which saved me a fortune on eating out (though let’s be honest, I still ended up ordering takeout half the time because, well, vacation brain). What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being in the city you’d hear constant traffic or neighbors, but the sound insulation is actually pretty solid. I’m someone who usually travels with earplugs, and I didn’t need them here.

The staff operates more like helpful neighbors than hotel employees, if that makes sense. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I’ll never use, just “here’s your key, here’s the wifi password, call if you need anything.” And honestly, that 8.4 rating feels about right. It’s not perfect – the bathroom could use some updating, and the elevator makes this weird humming sound that’s not exactly soothing – but these are the kind of minor quirks that give a place character rather than making you want to leave. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that look flawless in photos but feel sterile in person, and this definitely isn’t one of those. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup that made me feel more relaxed than I expected. If you’re looking for marble countertops and a concierge who knows your coffee order by day two, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a clean, comfortable base that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, PURA APARTMENT delivers on that promise without any unnecessary fuss.

  Posizione comodissima a pochi passi da Piazza Bra.
  Appartamento ampio e vivibile anche se datato e bisognoso di qualche adeguamento.
  Proprietari disponibili e accoglienti.
  
  What could be improved: Nota negativa il freddo: riscaldamento a condizionatore solo sulle due camere ma non così comodo perché gli split sparavano aria diretta su un letto, bagno freddino e non riscaldabile.

  il personale del hotel è stato molto disponibile, gentile e professionale.
  La posizione eccellente e camere spaziose e molto silenziose.
  
  What could be improved: l’alloggio era molto basico, mancavano delle piccole accortezze (bollitore del acqua in cucina, delle bottiglie d’acqua nel frigorifero, coperte idonee all’inverno tipo un piumone)
  Punti negativi; forse non è un alloggio fatto per stare in inverno era abbastanza umido e freddo l’interno, siccome è molto spazioso e ambio forse servirebbe un metodo di riscaldamento adeguato alla struttura, o quanto meno avere il telecomando dei condizionatori per le camere.
  
  L'acqua dei rubinetti aveva un odore strano e non ci siamo fidati a berla.

  Pura Apartment was spacious, clean, and in a convenient location for our travel needs. The staff MADE our stay memorable! They made us feel welcome and provided excellent customer service at every opportunity.

  We absolutely loved this apartment. it is on the second floor in a clean, secure block (with a lift!). The reception desk is in a cafe 2 doors down, open 24 hours and staffed by extremely helpful people. We were able to get into the apartment at 9am on arrival day, which was very welcome after an early flight and enabled us to drop our bags and head out for a full day of sightseeing. The apartment was larger than it looks in the photos with cool tiled floors throughout and air conditioning in the two bedrooms and dining room. There were three small balconies, a small kitchen and a large bathroom. Everything worked and it was spotlessly clean. The location of the apartment was perfect- a ten minute walk into the centre of Verona in one direction and a ten minute walk in the other direction to the train station with cheap and efficient services which we took to Lake Garda and Venice. I would 100% book this apartment again.
  
  What could be improved: There was a lack of basic kitchen crockery etc- no kettle or mugs and only one large pan, but this was not a problem for us as we weren’t cooking and I’m sure if we’d needed anything, it would have been supplied.
