Queen East Verona apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Queen East Verona apartments on Via Matteo Pasti, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s tucked into the Borgo Venezia neighborhood — honestly, one of those areas that feels authentically Veronese without the tourist crowds. The building has this understated elegance that I really appreciated, and you know what struck me first? How quiet it was, even though you’re still well-connected to the city center.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about staying in Borgo Venezia — you get the best of both worlds. Verona‘s historic center is totally accessible, but you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tourists outside your window at night. I mean, couples clearly love this spot (the ratings back that up), and I can see why. There’s something romantic about having your own little corner of the city. Plus, the parking situation is actually sorted here, which — let’s be honest — is a huge relief when you’re navigating Italian city centers with a rental car.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this four-star place apart is the apartment setup rather than traditional hotel rooms. Each unit feels like you’re staying in someone’s stylish Italian home, complete with a proper kitchen area. I loved having the option to grab fresh ingredients from local markets and cook something simple — there’s a certain charm to making your morning coffee the Italian way in your own space. The layout is thoughtful too, with enough room to actually unpack and settle in for a few days.
Neighborhood Discoveries
One thing I discovered during my stay — and this is something you won’t find in most guidebooks — is how well-positioned you are for exploring beyond the typical tourist trail. The neighborhood has these fantastic little cafés where locals actually hang out, and there’s a weekly market that happens just a short walk away. You’re close enough to catch the bus into the centro storico when you want to see Juliet’s balcony or catch an opera at the Arena, but far enough out that you feel like you’re experiencing real Verona life.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several nights here, I totally understand why this place consistently gets such high ratings. It’s that rare combination of independence and comfort — you have your own space to retreat to, but with all the thoughtful touches of a well-run accommodation. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and the attention to detail shows in everything from the quality of the linens to how well-equipped that kitchen actually is. For couples especially, there’s something special about having your own little Italian hideaway to come back to after a day of sightseeing.

Extremely comfortable and light apartment, everything you could possibly need, modern and spacious.
What could be improved: It was on the top floor with a few flights of stairs to navigate.Romolo from Canada – 1 June 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Nothing, we had a great stay.Borders from United Kingdom – 10 October 2023 (9/10)
Plenty of space and well equipped. Quiet suburban location with several good restaurants and grocery shops within a short walk. About a 30 min easy walk into the city centre ( bus options close by as well plus about 10-15 min walk to the railway station).
Andreicatalinboaca from Netherlands – 9 June 2023 (8/10)
The property itself is a 30 mins walk from the city center which is quite good. It is very roomy, and you have pretty much all you need in there. It is a very good choice when it comes to quality vs. price. Vast parking oportunities, local supermarket 2 mins away, Lidl 5 mins away.
What could be improved: Well, the location is great during day,but that fades away during the evening / night. The aircon would need a service or maybe a second one would need to be added, as it gets very hot inside (top floor). The place wasn't as clean as we were expecting, but maybe it was a one time miss that happened when we were there.Sale from Serbia – 13 March 2023 (9/10)
Apt was very modern and clean and big!
What could be improved: An elevator would have been nice but luckily we were not in and out all day.Saivanko from United Kingdom – 5 November 2022 (9/10)
very modern, clean and felt really comfortable
What could be improved: top floor and no lift. I had to sleep in the sofa bed as we didn’t get the twin that we bookedKendra from Canada – 29 October 2022 (9/10)
this is a beautiful apartment in a nice neighborhood. super clean with a comfortable bed and couches and cute lil terrace to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. loved having a full kitchen especially with a supermarket so close by (3 minute walk) and a washer in the unit is a huge plus.
Yulia from United States – 2 August 2022 (9/10)
Nice and clean apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry machine. Street parking available. Good wifi speed. Easy self check in.
What could be improved: There is only one AC unit in the living room. It took almost half a day to cool down the whole apartment (no additional AC units in bedrooms).
