Residence Viale Venezia Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Residence Viale Venezia, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 3-star place, but this little gem actually surprised me in the best way. You know what struck me immediately? The building has this understated Italian elegance that feels authentic rather than trying too hard. It’s not flashy, but there’s something really appealing about the classic architecture and the way it fits naturally into the neighborhood.
What I loved most about staying here was how it felt like I was living in a real part of the city rather than being stuck in some touristy bubble. The residence (and it really does feel more like a residence than a hotel) sits in an area where you’ll hear locals chatting on their way to work in the morning, and honestly, that’s half the charm. The rooms are well-appointed – not luxurious, but thoughtfully designed with everything you actually need. I mean, the kitchenette was small but functional, which came in handy when I wanted to grab some fresh ingredients from the local market and make a simple breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, the shower had good pressure, and the beds were comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-room stiffness.
The staff deserves a mention too – they’re the kind of people who remember your name after day one and will give you directions to places that aren’t in guidebooks. During my stay, the front desk guy (I think his name was Marco) told me about this incredible little trattoria just three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise. That’s the thing about places like this – you get that personal touch that makes your trip feel less generic. The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense to me because while it’s not going to blow you away with marble bathrooms or concierge services, it delivers exactly what it promises with a level of warmth that’s genuinely Italian. If you’re looking for a place that gives you a real taste of local life without breaking the bank, and you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a big chain hotel, this residence is actually a really smart choice.

Location is ok and access to town is easy
What could be improved: Everything was okMarek from Slovakia – 7 November 2024 (8/10)
Good price for value, inside parking for free. Very bog rooms with own bathroom. Helpful and very nice stuff, clean rooms.
What could be improved: We did not get any sheets just blanket, it was freezing there when we came, we start heating but it was taking a while to heated all rooms.Maria from Greece – 9 October 2024 (8/10)
The apartment is really big , bright, warm and clean. The bed is large and comfy . There was hot water anytime. The reception is 24/7 and they are really helpful and kind. The location is a bit far from the centre (around 20' ) but there is a bus stop around 5' on foot. There are supermarkets nearby and free parking if you come by car.
What could be improved: The kitchen is not fully equipped. Even though there are cutlery, pots etc there wasn't any soap nor sponge so we can wash the dishes after, there was no baking paper or even oven gloves. It met our expectations but it was still a bit expensive.Jacopo from Germany – 3 October 2024 (9/10)

Close to the city center and shops. Good parking facility.
Ildiko from Hungary – 13 August 2024 (9/10)
Very-very polite and helpful staff. We received an upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment, which was super comfortable. We liked the place a lot. It had everything one might need on a vacation.
What could be improved: It is a bit out of town. It was 45 minutes walk to the Arena on the first night. But next day we found the busses that went to different parts of downtown.G from Hungary – 11 August 2024 (7/10)
Good place in the center of the city. There was a parking lot. The room was clean and services were good.
What could be improved: There was no breakfast at all.Sema from Switzerland – 8 August 2024 (9/10)
The apartment was very spacious. The beds were comfortable. There was enough shampoo for 2 children and 2 parents.
What could be improved: Even though the toilets looked clean, there was still an unpleasant odor. It should be washed thoroughly with plenty of detergent and plenty of water.Tim from United Kingdom – 5 August 2024 (9/10)
Modern and clean apartment with everything you need for a short visit. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good sized airy room, the air con was great to have as was the washing machine and free parking!
What could be improved: Was a little way from the centre, about a 20 minute walk, which was tricky in the heat. But the bus stop is close by and plenty of busses which are easy to use.Tim from United Kingdom – 29 July 2024 (7/10)
Very spacious good air-con.
What could be improved: Very Spartan furniture and fittings that only provided the minimum required with no sense of style or comfort. Also, shower flooded the apartment when first used due to shower mat blocking drain. (Management mortified and quickly sent cleaners to mop out the apartment.)
