Residenza CuordiVerona Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Residenza CuordiVerona, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another boutique hotel from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this 4-star gem absolutely did that. The moment you step through the doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about creating something special here, not just filling rooms.
What really struck me was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Veronese charm without trying too hard. The interiors have this perfect balance – elegant enough that you feel like you’re treating yourself, but comfortable enough that you’re not afraid to actually live in the space for a few days. I mean, the attention to detail is pretty remarkable, from the way the lighting hits the common areas in the evening to how they’ve incorporated local materials and colors that just feel right in Verona. You can tell they understand their city and what travelers are actually looking for when they come here.
The staff here gets it too – they’re not just going through the motions with tourist recommendations. When I asked about dinner spots, the front desk guy (I think his name was Marco?) actually took out a little map and marked three different routes depending on whether I wanted romantic, authentic local, or just really good food without the fuss. That’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference, especially when you’re trying to navigate a city that can honestly feel a bit overwhelming with all its history and tourist crowds. The 8.7 rating this place pulls makes total sense when you experience that level of genuine helpfulness. Sure, it’s not perfect – the WiFi was a bit spotty in my room on the second floor, and the shower pressure could’ve been stronger – but these are minor gripes when everything else clicks so well. What I really appreciated was the quiet factor; even though you’re right in the heart of things, the soundproofing is solid enough that you can actually get some rest between all that sightseeing and wine tasting that Verona practically demands of you.

Rosaria and her staff were wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable. The elevator was a plus. And the location could not be better. A five minute walk to big Piazza Bra, many restaurants and the ancient amphitheater, and 2 minutes to a mini-grocery and pharmacy. Just a great place to stay!
What could be improved: Nothing.Stella from Germany – 23 March 2025 (9/10)
The location is exceptional. It is close to everything. The staff is amazing, very helpful and available. The breakfast is Italian style, sweet but very nice and satisfying and fresh.

Excellent location. Lovely and quiet.
What could be improved: Wi Fi was weak.Esteban from Germany – 22 October 2024 (9/10)
The place is beautifully arranged, as are the color-themed rooms. We got the green one. Each room seems to have been recently renovated, yet kept a part of the old antique wall exposed, which made it even more special. The place is 4 mins from the incredible roman Arena, in front of a nice little park with a fountain. Perfect location. Note that it's 20 mins walking from the train station, which was pretty ok.
The staff was very kind, and helpful. Breakfast was very nice: sweet breakfast with croissants, yogurts and fruits and great coffee.
They let us keep our luggage after check-out while we continued our visit of lovely Verona. We are definitely coming back. Keep in mind check-in is only possible until 5:30 pm.Martha from United States – 14 October 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: I was worried that the curtains were se through.Carol from Australia – 26 September 2024 (8/10)
Loved the location and the room was spacious, lovely and quiet. Staff was very kind and the shared space was good.
What could be improved: It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea /coffee making facilities in the room or available for our use. Despite this we would certainly stay here again.René from Denmark – 26 August 2024 (9/10)
