Residenza Navona Verona Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Residenza Navona Verona, I thought there might be some confusion with Rome’s famous Piazza Navona. But after staying here, I realized this little 3-star gem in Verona has its own quiet charm that doesn’t need to borrow from anywhere else. You know what struck me first? The way this place feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s apartment than a typical hotel. There’s something refreshingly understated about it – no marble lobbies or over-the-top chandeliers, just solid comfort with that effortless Italian style that somehow makes everything look better without trying too hard.
The location really grew on me during my stay. While you’re not right in the thick of the tourist chaos around Juliet’s balcony (honestly, thank goodness for that), you’re still close enough to walk to the main sights without breaking a sweat. I actually preferred being a bit removed from the crowds – it meant I could slip back for an afternoon rest without fighting through tour groups, and the neighborhood has this lovely residential feel where you’ll see actual Veronese going about their daily lives. The morning walks to grab coffee became one of my favorite parts of the day. Speaking of practical stuff, the rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – clean, comfortable beds that I actually slept well in, and everything worked properly (which, let me tell you, isn’t always a given even in pricier places).
What really won me over was the genuine hospitality. The staff clearly knows their city well and gave me restaurant recommendations that turned out to be absolute gems – places I never would’ve found wandering around with a guidebook. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense to me because this isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s simply a well-run, comfortable place where you’ll get good value for your money and feel like you’re experiencing Verona as more than just a tourist checking boxes. I mean, isn’t that what we’re all really looking for? Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that focus on doing the fundamentals really well rather than trying to dazzle you with unnecessary bells and whistles. If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates substance over flash and wants to feel connected to the city you’re visiting, this residenza delivers exactly that.

Great room in a great location. Clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom. Cute balcony with chairs. Good size modern bathroom. Quiet road but nearby to restaurants and shops.
What could be improved: Nothing as such just a note that due to the age of the building there is no lift to get to your rooms but stairs. The WIFI or is not working or not switched on, not sure. However, the area is covered by Verona city's WiFi so you should be able to connect to that instead.Napatsanun from Thailand – 25 June 2024 (9/10)
Residenza Navona Verona is perfectly located in the center of attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean and convenient. If you’re looking for a place to stay in town and close to everything, I highly recommend it!
What could be improved: All the restaurants are located downstairs, so there might be some noise until midnight.Samuel from Switzerland – 5 June 2024 (9/10)
Very good location right in the center. It was clean and well prepared. They also checked for toilet paper and fill up the fridge even though we did not book any room service.
