What really surprised me about Residenza Navona Verona was how well I slept here. The beds are genuinely comfortable — not just “decent for the price” comfortable, but actually good. The rooms themselves have that classic Italian charm you’d expect in a historical building, with high ceilings and traditional touches, though don’t expect cutting-edge modern amenities. It’s more about character than flash, which honestly works perfectly in this setting. The windows open onto either the piazzetta or the surrounding streets, and you’ll fall asleep to the gentle sounds of Verona winding down for the night.

Getting Around

One thing I really appreciated is how walkable everything becomes when you’re staying here. The Arena di Verona is maybe a seven-minute stroll, Piazza delle Erbe is even closer, and you can reach the Adige River in about the same time. But here’s what I found most valuable — you’re close enough to duck back to your room easily if you need a break from sightseeing or want to freshen up before dinner. That might not sound like much, but when you’re doing a lot of walking on those unforgiving cobblestones, having a comfortable base nearby makes a real difference.

  Amazing location for the city, tucked away off the main street. Lovely view from our balcony. Lovely little bar below.

  Great room in a great location. Clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom. Cute balcony with chairs. Good size modern bathroom. Quiet road but nearby to restaurants and shops.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing as such just a note that due to the age of the building there is no lift to get to your rooms but stairs. The WIFI or is not working or not switched on, not sure. However, the area is covered by Verona city's WiFi so you should be able to connect to that instead.

  Residenza Navona Verona is perfectly located in the center of attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean and convenient. If you’re looking for a place to stay in town and close to everything, I highly recommend it!
