But stepping inside, there’s a quiet charm to the place that catches you off guard in the best way. The address alone tells you something important: you’re right in the historical centre, on Stradone Porta Palio, which is one of those wide, characterful streets that feels authentically Veronese rather than tourist-polished. You can walk to the Arena di Verona in about fifteen minutes, and the whole tangle of medieval lanes, little wine bars, and trattorias is basically on your doorstep. Couples especially seem to fall for this spot — and I get it, because wandering back from a candlelit dinner through those old streets with your hotel this close is genuinely lovely. The location scored a 9.0, and I’d say that’s well earned.

The Room

Rooms here are comfortable and clean without trying too hard to be something they’re not. There’s a sort of understated, residential feel to the place — think more “stylish Veronese apartment” than generic hotel box. The beds are proper and restful, which after a day of cobblestone wandering matters more than you’d think. I mean, you’re not here to spend time in the room anyway, but it’s genuinely nice to come back to.

Practicalities Worth Knowing

One thing that actually surprised me — and it’s worth flagging because it’s rare in a city-centre Italian hotel — is that parking is completely free. If you’re driving into Verona, you’ll know that finding somewhere to leave the car without paying through the nose is sort of a minor miracle. It takes one real stress off the trip, especially if you’re arriving late or planning day trips into the surrounding Veneto countryside. Small thing, maybe, but it adds up.

  Light and airy apartment with good facilities. Very clean. Comfy bed, good bathrooms and nice decor. Quiet location and easy to get to the centre of Verona and the railway station. The host was easy to contact and very helpful.

  The property was very clean, quiet and nicely laid out. It was located conveniently for the city centre and the railway station. The host kindly let us leave our luggage at the apartment as we had an evening flight and needed to check out at 11am.

  Very smooth checking good communication elevator was handy coffee shop downstairs plenty of shops near by walking distance to main sights 20 min to thermal park kids loved it same to garda lake .
