Residenza Principe Amedeo City Center free parking Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of three-star places in Rome, and honestly, Residenza Principe Amedeo City Center free parking surprised me in the best way possible. First thing that hit me when I walked in? It actually feels like someone’s elegant apartment that they’ve opened up to travelers, not some cookie-cutter hotel chain. The lobby has this warm, residential vibe – you know what I mean, those little touches that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual character.
But here’s the thing that’ll make you love this place – and I mean really love it – they’ve got free parking. In Rome. Do you know how rare that is? I spent my first two days in the city circling blocks like a vulture, feeding coins into those brutal parking meters, before I discovered this gem. The parking situation alone probably saves you 25-30 euros a day, which is honestly game-changing if you’re doing a road trip through Italy or just want the freedom to explore beyond the metro lines. The staff was super helpful about explaining the parking setup too – none of that vague “oh, it’s around back somewhere” nonsense you get at some places.
What really won me over, though, was the location sweet spot they’ve managed to hit. You’re close enough to Termini Station that you can actually walk there with luggage (maybe 10-12 minutes if you’re not dragging massive suitcases), but far enough away that you don’t get that constant rumble of trains and the chaos that comes with being right on top of the main station. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a fantastic little café about two blocks down where locals actually grab their morning espresso, and I stumbled across this tiny alimentari that made the most incredible sandwiches for day trips. The rating of 8.8 makes total sense to me because it’s one of those places that just works, you know? Nothing flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything you need is there and done well. The rooms are clean and comfortable – mine had these shutters that actually blocked out the morning light when I wanted to sleep in, which seems like a small thing until you’re trying to recover from jet lag. I’d definitely stay here again, especially knowing I can park for free and still be connected to everything that matters in the city.

Reviews of Residenza Principe Amedeo City Center free parking

The location is great and it’s wonderful that there are two bathrooms. The living area is lovely as a communal area.
What could be improved: There is no real balcony/terrace unfortunately that you can sit on, it’s the covered tiny entente, and when I asked for pictures to confirm the existence of the balcony my request remained unanswered.Brett from Australia – 31 July 2023 (8/10)
Booked during the day of our overnight stay so for a last-minute booking, this was an enjoyable place to stay. Easy walk to all the Verona tourist spots, dining areas, and the parking pass was very useful for our rental car. Tight little laneway to park and drop off our bags, but Federica the host gave good explanations & instructions to access keys & the apartment. Air-conditioning only covered living area but there were fans in both bedrooms. Washing machine was very useful after several days travelling without washing. Enjoyed our stay before moving on towards Rome.
What could be improved: Would’ve been good to have air-con in bedrooms but for one night it was OK. Couldn’t lock doors but keys locked gates in front of door and bottom of stairs.Kelly from Australia – 6 May 2023 (8/10)
The apartment was clean and fresh. It was close to Old Town. It had everything you need for a stay.
What could be improved: The apartment was a bit difficult to find. The laneways to get to the apartment were very narrow for medium/large cars. The "Free parking" in front of the apartment was taken, and there was no parking close by the apartment. When we rang the agent about the parking, she said… town is very busy at the moment and was not much help. She suggested we go to a paid parking station. The shower in the main bathroom leaked water all over the floor, and the floor in the 2nd bedroom squeaked every time you moved. The front door was hard to lock. But these are just small things.Charlotte from United Kingdom – 23 January 2023 (9/10)
Location excellent.
Host extremely helpful and answers questions quickly and helps where she can. She's on hand to offer advice and even rang a patisserie for us regarding my partners birthday cake.
Verona card is handy for the must see sights and buses.
Appartment was clean and spacious. It was well equipped with everything you might need, including washing machine. Kitchen well equipped.
2 spacious bedrooms, 1 ensuite, and then another bathroom.
There's beautiful restaurants close by ( walk through the park, turn left, head to the bridge, go across it and walk up, here you'll find shops and restaurants.
There's a beautiful restaurant across the way from the arena, which serves a wide variety of traditional food.
Bagel Road is good too, as is Flego patisserie.
There's a supermarket called conad City across the bridge.
What could be improved: Nothing, I'd definitely return to this appartment.Vitaliy from Ukraine – 3 December 2022 (9/10)
It is really nice apartment. Cosy, elegant and warm (which is very important for winter months). Location is great. The historical city center is right across the bridge. Kitchen is stuffed with everything necessary, even with nice coffee. Thank you. I will definitely stay here when back to Verona.

Plenty of space, two bathrooms
What could be improved: Parking problemDerek from United Kingdom – 2 October 2022 (9/10)
Great location. Very clean comfortable apartment.
Easy access to all attractions.
Recommend Trattoria Pero D'Oro for authentic Italian food only a few minutes from the apartmentMikronom from United Kingdom – 28 July 2022 (8/10)
Apartment is in great location, walking distance to the centre, close to river, great pizzeria around the corner.
Apartment is good size.
What could be improved: Parking was a bit issue as there were no spaces around, took us some time to find space for a night, mostly spaces are for residence only. Towels were a bit smelly a bit dumpy and there is no kettle in the flat.Linda from United Kingdom – 3 July 2022 (9/10)
Extremely clean, well presented and comfortable, and only a 15 min walk from the historical parts of the city. Also close to the river. it’s possible to get a bus from Porta Nuevo station to about 400m from the apartment. The owners were friendly and provided clear information over email. We were able to arrive at any time because the keys were in a security box with a combination lock. We were only disappointed the place was unavailable for one more night when we needed to extend our stay in Verona.
What could be improved: It is a little hard to find at first, and even then it took us a few minutes to figure out how to find the rear entrance where the keys were in a lock box. But the owners had emailed detailed instructions and a picture of the rear entrance, which was extremely helpful.Natalia from Ukraine – 1 July 2022 (9/10)
Great spacious apartment, comfortable and clean
What could be improved: A lot of key and doors, but it was ok. There is no dedicated parking spot so if all taken near the property it can be challenging to find one nearby.
