Romeo&Juliet’s Nest in Verona Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Romeo&Juliet’s Nest in Verona, you immediately get why couples are so drawn to this place. It’s tucked away on Via Tonale in the Borgo Trento neighborhood — honestly, one of those areas where you feel like you’ve discovered something special that most tourists miss. The four-star property has this intimate, residential feel that’s refreshing after dealing with the crowds around Juliet’s balcony and the main piazzas.
The Borgo Trento Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in this part of Verona — you’re close enough to walk to the historic center (maybe 15-20 minutes on foot), but you’re actually living like a local. Borgo Trento has this authentic Italian neighborhood vibe with tree-lined streets and genuine cafés where you won’t find tour groups. The location score of 9.5 makes total sense when you realize you can easily reach the Arena di Verona and Castelvecchio, but you’ll sleep peacefully at night without the noise from the city center.
Your Home Base
The room setup here really works for couples — I mean, the name isn’t just marketing fluff. There’s something genuinely romantic about the way they’ve designed the spaces, with thoughtful touches that feel personal rather than corporate. You know what struck me most? The attention to creating cozy corners where you can actually relax together, not just crash after a day of sightseeing. The 9.4 rating from couples tells the whole story — this isn’t just a place to sleep, it’s part of the Verona experience.
Living the Local Life
What sets this place apart is how it connects you to real Verona life. You’ll find yourself shopping at the local markets, grabbing morning coffee at neighborhood bars (that’s what Italians call cafés), and discovering those little osterie that don’t have English menus. The Borgo Trento area has this perfect balance — residential enough to feel authentic, but with easy access to buses and walking routes when you want to explore the tourist sites. It’s actually refreshing to stay somewhere that doesn’t feel like it exists solely for visitors.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.4 overall rating really reflects what happens when a property gets the fundamentals right — location, comfort, and that intangible feeling of being welcomed into someone’s carefully curated space. Couples consistently rate the location so highly because it offers the best of both worlds: romantic evening strolls through quiet streets, but quick access to Verona’s incredible restaurant scene and historic attractions. You’re not fighting crowds to get home after dinner, and you’re not paying tourist prices for everything. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit to Verona before you’ve even checked out. The apartment truly captures the essence of what makes this neighborhood special.

What could be improved: There is no service for the cleaning during your staySteve from United Kingdom – 10 September 2024 (10/10)
Clean, nicely furnished and a good location to explore Verona
What could be improved: Nothing. Our only observation that there was only one comfy chair in an apartment for two.Sinead from Ireland – 2 May 2024 (9/10)
The place was lovely, very comfortable, very clean and the location was superb. We were less than 10mins to the centre of Verona and the same to Piazza Brà. Leo was very responsive and gave us lots of tips for restaurants, bars and tourist highlights in the area. The area itself felt very safe. We had a lovely relaxing trip. Loved it here.

Wery spacious flat in a nice quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the city center. The owner was very nice and even gave us some tips what not to miss in Verona.
What could be improved: I am not sure what are the possibilities of car parking in the area. We left our car in a garage quite far away.Dana from United States – 18 July 2023 (10/10)
Location and staff. Leo is awesome! Before I arrived he gave me an excellent list of local restaurants, bars, sights to see and things to do. I checked off 2/3 of the list in one day. Loved every minute of it. Thank you Leo!!!

Wonderful place!
Very close to the arena di Verona.
There is also a supermarket near so anything you need is there.
The room is beautiful and practical, the bed and bathtub are very comfortable, and the bathroom is also in very good condition.
The host is really nice and responds quickly.

The location is great, you could walk to Arena Di Verona in less than 10 minutes. The host was very kind and sweet and gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
What could be improved: Nothing except for a stain on the blanket sheet that maybe wasn't noticed when it was put on as everything else was perfectly cleanGarry from United Kingdom – 29 August 2022 (10/10)
