I can’t stress enough how huge this is when you’re dealing with Italian historic centers. Most places in the old town either charge you an arm and a leg or make you park so far away you might as well have stayed in the suburbs. Here, you can actually drive up, park, and forget about your car while you explore on foot. The 3-star rating might sound modest, but that 8.7 guest rating tells the real story – this isn’t about marble lobbies or rooftop pools, it’s about being exactly where you want to be with everything you actually need. The rooms have that sort of old-world charm you’d expect in a building this age, though don’t expect everything to be perfectly straight lines and modern fixtures. The walls are thick (thank god, because summer evenings can get lively on the streets below), and there’s something really satisfying about opening wooden shutters in the morning to peek out at medieval architecture.

What I really appreciated was how the location lets you experience Verona like you’re living there temporarily rather than just checking boxes on a tourist list. You’re close enough to Piazza delle Erbe that you can grab fresh produce at the morning market, but you’re not right on top of the main tourist drag where it gets absolutely crazy during peak season. The staff seems to get that most people staying here want to explore the city properly – they’re good with recommendations that go beyond the obvious spots, and they understand that sometimes you just want to drop your bags and disappear into the maze of streets for hours. Honestly, if you’re the type who likes to walk everywhere and soak up atmosphere rather than getting shuttled around in taxis, this is your spot. Just remember that “centro storico” means old streets, so if you’re rolling heavy suitcases, maybe pack a bit lighter – though really, that’s good advice for any Italian city adventure.

  1. Location was superb. apart from the train station everything was in easy walking distance.
  2. Lots of great eating options in any direction within 5-10 min walk.

  What could be improved: The only complaint is have was the checkin and I think that it may partly have been a technical glich with the Vikey service.
  The host only converse in Italian (which is fine we were in Italy) hence had to go back an forwards with google translate.
  The checkin is done online via a service called Vicky. The front door is opened by your phone with a link and there is a lock box at the door of the actual apartment. The key is attached to the box, which makes opening the door awkward but you wont loose the key.
  You will need a phone with data on it for it all to work. The door WILL NOT open till the allotted chicken time 3pm.
  You get an email and booking.com message at 3pm with all the details about the apartment. These were perfect and told you everything you needed to know.
  My suggestion TO THE OWNER is all this should be sent the day before and stimulate that the front door will not let you in till 3pm. We got there early ( not the owners fault) but we didn't even know if it was the right building. There is no signage outside and it took a lot of back an forth to work that out. Then we went around the corner and got lunch. having all the details would have saved a lot of stress. Maybe the message we got the day before was meant to have all those details in it and there was some technical issue anyway great place just sort out the checkin issues.

  I liked the location. It is in the historic city centre of Verona . It is near most of the sightseeing places in Verona, just few steps to the Julietta House. The appartement has got a beautiful and cosy design.
  
  What could be improved: There are some electricity problems in the appartement especially if you use the hairdryer and the oven the electricity goes off from the whole appartement. The keys of the font door sometimes don't work and you need to call the owner to open for you. Apart from this the appartement is one of the best in the city.
